No one "loses" against cancer, sounds as if somebody didn´t try hard enough. Mrs. Doherty proved the traits of a true warrior by fighting against a monster for years - a beast that took all from her, but never her hope. She left this world as a true inspiration, not as some kind of "loser". In fact she won many times - against fear, against resignation, against pain, against unimaginable exhaustion. God bless her.

She was with her husband for 13 years before they divorced right before her death. That sucks that he didn't stand by her to the end. It's a horrible feeling and you realize you can't really trust anybody no matter how much you think you know them.

Shannen was so nasty to everyone in the 90's. So intolerable she was written off 90210 at end of season 4. Yeah, she made everyone that miserable. Super rare for a successful, mega money making show to write off a main character. But it had to be done. She's iconic for feuding with everyone, even on Charmed... where she also had to be written off. Let's not re-write history. Hope some day karma doesn't catch up to her.
