భార్య ను, కొడుకును, మమ్మల్ని అలా వదిలేసి వెళ్లిపోవడం...నీ లక్ష్యం కోసం, మమ్మల్ని కష్టపెట్టడం స్వార్ధం కాదా..... అని బుద్ధుడి తండ్రి... చాలాకాలం తర్వాత కలిసిన బుద్ధుడిని ప్రశ్నిస్తాడు.... దానికి సమాధానంగా బుద్ధుడు..... మానవ జాతి మొత్తం పడుతున్న దుఃఖానికి కారణం తెలుసుకుని... ఆ దుఃఖం నుంచి మనుషులందరిని విముక్తుల్ని చేస్తాను....నేను ఏం చేసినా... దాని కోసమే చేశాను.. అని వినమ్రంగా తండ్రికి నమస్కరించి - వెళ్ళిపోతాడు.. ఆ రోజు ఆ తండ్రి బుద్ధుడిని అర్ధం చేసుకోలేకపోయాడు.. కానీ బుద్ధుడు ఎంత కరెక్టు అన్నది.... బుద్ధ మార్గంలో దుఃఖం నుంచి విముక్తి పొందుతున్నవాళ్ళు... నిరూపిస్తున్నారు.... బుద్ధుడి ఆత్మలోని ఏ అంశ అయినా ఎక్కడ ఉన్నా... మిమ్మల్ని చూసి సంతోషిస్తుంది.
