Everyone has given some disaster movies in their career, but still they sustained, so how come Gracy Singh stopped getting movies after 1 disaster?

I think it's because she did not have the looks to be cast as a lead heroine . Like she can be Gauri , Dr. Suman or Anuradha but never a Geet from Jab We Met or Naina from Kal Ho Na Ho , at least strictly in terms of looks. She is like the female equivalent of Nawazuddin or Raj Kumar Rao , who was unfortunately way ahead of her time. Incredibly unfair on her but true.

And regarding Desdrohi , many people in the cast were those who faded after some good films. Gracy , Aman Verma , Hrishita Bhatt (whom I am actually curious , why never had a bollywood career despite being good looking with decent acting skills ) along with people lost to time like Kader Khan and Ranjit. I really don't think they would be in a position to refuse a job.

I personally feel that she leaving films is less of her loss but more of Bollywood's loss. I think had she not left bollywood, she still would have been a massive leading actress over 40 even today just like Kareena and Vidya Balan is.
