you were on the right track, as far as why Peter was so heavily guarded, the leaders remembered what happened, when they had soldiers guarding jesus, before he arose from the grave,

This was so appreciated as we have been fervently praying for our Pastor who was involved in a biking accident back in June! Thankfully he has recovered to the point of being released from doctors care at this time and will be returning to the Pulpit this coming Sunday . God has been faithful through all of this and we still continue to pray for his mom Carrie who had a 2nd Stroke and has not been able to communicate since this set back. Our cares team has been faithfully serving and holding prayer circle at their house. We also are praying for Bro Doug who is in a cancer treatment plan after many months of no diagnosis and plan. We are so thankful for answered prayers and the power of it to touch God's heart and give us His peace.
