I agree with Pastor Paul about the conviction of the Holy Sprit even before He dwells in me. I have no knowledge of the Bible at all. I thank God for His conviction telling me 9 years ago what I was doing in this religion wasn’t of Him at all. I am so thankful and I am glad I am out of that religion. Thanks Pastor Paul for your great teaching as always. Regards from Borneo.

What was the religion you left? I have a feeling it may be the same one I’m about to leave.

I am so grateful for this teaching. In accepting that I'm a bit slow on the uptake sometimes , this teaching finally gave me the understanding of the new wine in the old wineskins .... I have no idea why I didn't get it before as it is quite obvious now !!! Thank you LORD and thank you Pastor and GOD bless you and the Christian family and Israel. Gilly wife of Mark

I was in a legalistic church for many years and I always thought there was something wrong with it, but o always felt bad to leave because I thought o would disappoint God , but it kept getting worse until I finally left. That experience marked me for the rest of my life

Galaxy s22+, I can hear it, but have to crank it up. It's lower than Acts 5 part 2 (for example).

Thank you, Pastor Paul, for your teaching. I have a question based on my understanding about myself and probably injecting to Israel not being able to understand the imcompatibility between the two covenants. We got it because we are looking from now to the past with the Bible. But they were in that situation. They probably had the difficulity to recognize and was not sure that's it. I feel that human beings are afraid to switch to new stuff because they are afraid their judgement was wrong. Sadly to say, if I were in their shoes, I would be likely to feel confused and swing between and couldn't make the decision. I was raised in a legalismed family and society. That's my generation and even what-we-should-have-to do is emphasized and requessted more in my present church and yes, it is really very tough to jump into grace. Many times, I would think I have to do something or God will leave me behind.

I think something is wrong with the audio...(?) I can barely hear this, and the same happened last week, but other videos I can hear fine. God bless you.

It's an HP Laptop. It's the strangest thing, this has never happened and I've been listening to these teachings for 10 years. Apparently I'm the only one who is having an issue, so it must be some sort of glitch (SATAN) with my computer.:( I can hear everything else fine, though.

The command to not eat meat with blood in it did not originate from the mosaic law, it was given to Noah and his descendants Genesis 9:4 (NIV) “But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.”

Also, if eating food that has been offered to idols was ok with Jesus, why did Jesus have such strong words against the churches of Thyatira and Pergamun for doing so? Revelation 2:20 (NIV) “Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.”

Because what was happening in Thyatira was way beyond merely eating food. It involved full blown pagan worship. Jesus was very clear about eating food in the gospels. And the apostle Paul makes it also very clear that the issue isn't eating food whether it was devoted to a pagan idol or not.

@@PastorPaulLeBoutillier it was related to pagan worship sure, but that doesn’t undue the fact that he specifically called out eating the food, and not other related activities.

@@cammiepatch301 Paul expands on the reasons for as to why eating food sacrificed to idols is problematic in 1 corinthians 10. He tells us that the food itself is not an issue, it's just food, being sacrificed to idols does nothing to it. The problem is about misconception and being a stumbling block to others. You don't want people to think that Christianity allows idol worship as an acceptable practice, nor do you want to violate a weaker believers conscience and lead them into ignoring it in the future, even though you know that there's nothing wrong with eating the food. Remember, when in doubt, don't throw it out, figure it out.
