Hey guys, just finishing up a deployment overseas and used your videos to strengthen and teach me every morning. Very thankful for you....on this one I was also struck by the willingness of the centurion to do the right thing and protect Paul, even when faced with public pressure...if he had let Paul fall prey to the ambush the Centurion's "problem" would have been over but his duty, he had sworn to (project citizens) would not have been done...potentially Paul would have been killed, few people would have been aware and most of the NT might not have been written. I am thankful for the centurion who did his duty and protected Paul.

Hi, maybe you should go into more detail about Paul's interaction with the high priest. I think I have a good understanding as to why Paul acted this way as it was right for him to correct the person but wrong to talk that way to God's high priest. However, when we are slapped we are called to turn the other cheek (to be gentle and forgiving). I think this (turning the other cheek) is a reference to the way we should behave when our pride is insulted as our pride must die and be put to death daily so when someone insults us we should happy accept this gift from God to humble us (King David insulted and behaves in humility 2nd Samuel 16:5-12). On the other hand, when someone blasphemes God and tries to distort the truth of the Gospel we should defend it and correct the persons who try to do this. We should try to be gentle in our correction but if the blasphemer insists in blaspheming we should pray for this person and urge him/her to change their rebellious ways. Paul responded in the way he did, not to seek vengeance, but because he was zealous for the truth and hated the corruption.

What if we're in our new season of our walk and our faith? Do we tell them of what we know so far?

That’s a good question. I’ve been a on my walk with Christ for about a year now and I’ve talked to some of my family member and friends about Jesus, even though I’m still learning and don’t know much. But what I do is just let the spirit pour out of me while I talk. I ask God to just speak through me to the person who I am talking to. I hope this helped! All glory to God and God bless!✝️❤️🙏🙌🏼💪🏼
