Pastor Paul, there is NO doubt in my mind after watching this class, you could fill an auditorium full and bring the word with satire and comedy that many new believers need today. You have a gift of balancing the word perfectly that covers all age groups. God Bless. There was a condition and reason why the apostles warned Simon to fully repent or fully deal with a great issue that hindered the relation to God. God cannot be mocked and the issue was bitterness and in the good old fashion style of Jesus after healing someone he would warn them not to continue in their sin. The question is not whether Simon was saved , the question is did he take responsibility and got rid of his issue, clearly Peter told him that he would perish because of it IF he didn’t take care of it. I think it’s part of the sanctification process. Another interesting point is why was Phillip unable to lay hands on the samaritans for the empowering of the Holy Spirit. Maybe this question should be adtesssednin the Q and A…please.

Also...after the woman at the well was saved she went back to Samaria and told everyone and I thought they all become followers??

I'm not sure if you will see this, but I have a question that our teaming team is working through. Would you state that believers, who have the Spirit indwelling in them, have the gifts of the Spirit? Or what exactly is the difference between a believer who has the Spirit indwelling them vs empowering them? I have more questions but I think this is enough to work through for now in a KZbin thread! Thank you for your teaching and it's awesome to work through Scripture together.
