As a child I was abused. Jesus spoke to me (audibly) and told me “life is a test” and “you don’t need to worry about dying”. When I was older and in high school, the Holy Spirit led me to forgive my stepdad. I prayed and said I forgive him! I was given a new heart and all my anger was gone! Think of the Bible as a story from Earth’s beginning until the end. The story will end for 😂Earth and all its inhabitants in Revelation! Yes, it is almost perfectly word for word from the NIV version after the first scene and except the very end for the parts that Luke interacts with those on the ship. They just dramatize it and add imagery with the video. There is another from Visual Bible called Matthew which is also word-for-word. I wish they had videos like this for all of the books of the Bible. l Almost all the other movies I've seen that are supposed to be Bible stories add things that are not in the Bible and leave out important things and then people get confused who don't know the actual Bible stories.

Ignorantly, i resisted his wooing, till one day a lie threatening thing happened, an audable voice spoke to me, and told me what to do. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14 NLT When I preach on our total forgiveness in Christ, someone will inadvertently ask, Pastor Prince, if all my sins are forgiven, that means my future sins are too. But how can my future sins be forgiven? Well, that’s a great question. The reality is, when Jesus died on the cross two thousand years ago, all our sins were in the future. There are people who argue that there is no Scripture that says that all our future sins are forgiven. They teach that when we receive Jesus, all our past sins are forgiven, but our future sins are only forgiven as we confess them and ask God for forgiveness. First let me say to those who claim there is no Bible verse stating that our future sins are forgiven, that there is also no Bible verse stating that only our past sins are forgiven! But there is a Scripture that clearly states, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Eph. 1:7, emphasis mine). In the original Greek text, the verb for “have” is in the present tense, which indicates durative action, meaning we are continually having forgiveness of sins, including every sin we will ever commit. Furthermore, in 1 John 2:12, it says, “I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.” The Greek perfect tense is used here for “are forgiven,” meaning this forgiveness is a definite action completed in the past, with the effect of this action continuing into the present. This means that God’s forgiveness avails for you in your present, and continues into your future. Do you see that? Next, I want you to consider today’s Scripture. Colossians 2:13-14 declares that Jesus forgave all our sins! The word “all” is the Greek pas, meaning “every kind or variety... the totality of the persons or things referred to.” It refers to “all, any, every, the whole.” So “all” means all. God’s forgiveness of our sins covers every sin-past, present, and future! When we received the Lord Jesus as our Savior, we received the total and complete forgiveness of all our sins. In Hebrews 10:11-14, the Bible says, “And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” Now, according to this Scripture, as a believer, for how long are you perfected? Forever! How can you be perfected forever, if your future sins are not forgiven? Obviously, they are!

Acts 20 they are doing the Holy Days and gathering the first of the Sabbaths of the 7 sabbaths counting from unleavened bread to Pentecost of Lev 23 and next chapter 21 was in Jerusalem for Pentecost and taking a Torah keeping Nazarite vow which includes Sacrifice from Numbers 6. The Holy Days depict His plan of salvation n marriage covenant to His bride. ..His first and second coming......though He came and showed Himself all through the entire Bible. 1 Corinthians 10 We are to obey with a circumcised heart n that Is all through the OT. He never changed His covenant or plan. Its always been the same. This part is cut up to make it look like their gathering wasn’t at unleavened bread and almost whispered.

@@patriciacole8773 Only the moon calendar existed n not days of the week at all. Every crescent moon is the start of the new month. The time between the months is a long sabbath. It’s a break between called the New Moon Sabbaths or from sabbath to sabbath. The 7 days is after seeing the crescent moon every month. Actually the church used Acts 20 verse 7 to change the sabbath to a Gregorian understanding. It had nothing to do with gathering on a weekday at all. There were no weekdays ever when the Bible was written. They were gathering at the first of the “plural Sabbaths from Unleavened bread to Pentecost as per Lev 23 and they were in Jerusalem for Pentecost in Acts 21 and taking a Torah keeping Nazarite vow of Numbers 6 which includes sacrifice. The word WEEK in verse 7 is actually plural Sabbaths. And we will continue to do the Holy Days ( which depict His full plan of Salvation and Marriage Covenant to His Bride. ) and sacrifice in the 1000 year reign. Zechariah 14:16-21 He never changed 1 Corinthians 10 We should obey Him n all His Laws with a circumcised heart 1 John 2. The lawless are rejected. Believers should know and understand the SCRIPTURE which is the OT first so that they can actually fully understand the NT. They don’t understand fully cuz they read the NT first. But the NT says their conviction was through hearing Moses being preached in the Synagogues. But first before they could go to gathering they had to stop sinning which Is transgressing the laws like abstaining from drinking blood and etc.... that’s not part of the 10 commandments because Moses was given all the commandments, not just 10. I took a Bible knowledge exam back in my school days. One of the book is from the Acts and another is from Luke. Since too many characters and stories in this Acts book, I am not able to learn much while reading it. I have failed my Bible Knowledge exam. Now this movie gave me a better picture and understanding of the fellowship of the disciples and how the way they spread the good news around the world. Thank you lord Jesus Christ

Praise Jesus! I am so glad for this movie! It is simply wonderful. I am a born again Christian, and Seventh Day Adventist. I accepted Christ as my savior when I was 10 years old and attending a Lowell Lundstrom crusade in Portland Oregon. My parents, also being Christians, and my siblings and I all attended a Nazareth church. Later we attended a Pentecostal Church, and after that a non-denominational church. As an adult, I was a member of two different Baptist Churches, Conservative Baptists and Regular Baptists. Then, 13 years ago, I discovered the church that was in my vision that I had when I was 14, and lay dying on a beach on the Oregon coast. I was dying from hypothermia. My parents laid hands on me, prayed, and I lived. During the time I was semi-conscious, I spoke with Jesus, who told me I would not die, but needed to return to do HIS work. I was shown the past things of my life, and the future that would come in my life. Those things have continued to come true to this day. When I found the Seventh Day Adventist church I currently attend, I found the right place of worship for me. Finally, God delivered me from 40 years of depression; depression caused by the abuse of a sexual predator--who had tried to bury me alive when I was a mere 9 years of age. I had buried those memories due to a head injury. I survived this--did not seek help for psychological problems until I was in my 20's. I have read the Bible all along the way cover to cover, and studying it diligently many passages and know it well. I know it well enough to know that this movie is factual in it's retelling of ACTS. I am happy with the writers and producers who put the Scripture passages on the screen so that anyone can follow along with their Bible! This is awesome!! I always enjoyed watching Jennifer O'neill and Dean Jones in movies. I had wondered where they disappeared to in later years. I am thrilled they have chosen to do Christian movies! I am thrilled by their testimony that actors can follow Jesus Christ--and practice acting too. After all, Hollywood needs their testimonies too. People need to learn that money, fame, and sex are not the way to happiness--it is Jesus Christ. Thank you to all the actors and actresses in this movie and all who worked so hard to bring it to the screen. I hope that non-believers will watch this film, and FIND the Gospel of Jesus and believe. For those of us who do believe already--I pray that this film encourages them as it has encouraged me through this night. There is only "one"{ truth and it comes through Jesus Christ. And keep this in mind, we are to obey God/Christ rather than man. Many people today believe that God is still working miracles like He did in the first century. Many people say that they can speak in tongues or heal the sick, or that they know people who can. But the Bible does not teach this idea. A miracle in the Bible was a supernatural act. It was an event that was beyond the usual course of nature-like restoring sight to a man blind from birth, or raising a dead person (like Lazarus) from the grave. The Bible teaches that miracles happened in Bible times for a very specific purpose: to confirm the Word (Mark 16:20; Acts 8:6; Hebrews 2:3-4). How did miracles “confirm the Word”? When an inspired speaker stepped forward to declare God’s Word, God confirmed His Word by having the speaker perform a miracle to show that he was from God. The miracle showed the hearers that God was behind the speaker’s remarks. Miracles authenticated the spoken word as God’s Word. Miracles verified the teaching of God’s messengers, as over against the many false teachers (read John 3:2). Paul stated that miracles would cease and be done away when the “perfect” (or completed Word of God) had been revealed (1 Corinthians 13:8-10; James 1:25). Those things that were incomplete and partial (miraculous gifts) would be replaced by the total and complete (the fully revealed Word of God). Once God revealed all of the information that He wished to make available to people, the need for miracles to confirm the oral Word came to an end. Now, people can sit down with a New Testament, the written Word of God, and, with honest and diligent study, conclude that it is God’s Word. We have absolutely no need for miracles. Since there are no apostles living today, and since Holy Spirit baptism was unique to the apostles (Acts 2) and the first Gentile converts (Acts 10), there is no Holy Spirit baptism today. Likewise, there is no miraculous healing today. All those on whom the apostles had laid their hands are also dead (Acts 8:18). Once the last apostle died, the ability to perform miracles could not be passed on to others. The Bible teaches that miracles are no longer necessary since we have everything we need to function in this life, to be pleasing to God, and to survive spiritually (Read 2 Peter 1:3) Baptism is conditional, it is not optional, It was commanded by Christ Himself. Matthew 28:19-20. John the Baptist baptized was for repentance. Christ was still alive. Under the covenant of Christ we must be fully immersed into the likeness of His death for the forgiveness of our sins. Romans 6:3-6. Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you-not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God [a]for a good conscience-through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 1Peter 3:21 Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name.
