I am so grateful that I can listen to the word of God and read the word of God at the same time. It is just so beneficial to hear it.

This will be the lower case "word" since the capital "w" Word is reserved only for Jesus in the flesh. 😁

I'm sorry Matt corrected you. He is not really an authorized authority to correct you. THE WORD , is used in many areas in the Bible. The Word of God is the Word of God. We will know when He returns all of the context that entails. Meanwhile do not worry about discouraging trolls on utube. They are as common as armchair quarterbacks these days. Take courage and be encouraged you are loved. Shalom!
Good speed to read and listen along to, in your preferred bible version.

Ephesians 6:12 King James Version 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places . Ephesians 6:12 New International Version 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,(A) but against the rulers, against the authorities,(B) against the powers(C) of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.(D) Let's be on guard. I love my brother Paul and I look forward to seeing him in Heaven. And Peter and the brethren. Especially Jesus Christ, my Lord. God my Father. Amen.

Hello have you obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ? Repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, he that believeth not shall damned

I tried; believe me I tried. The NASB is the version I read, refer to, and depend nearly exclusively. It's considered the most literal translation available. But this read sounds/reads as though he was given the text the moment he walked up to the microphone. His up and down tonality and his poor and misplaced emphases do not conduce to a smooth and listenable presentation. It's back to Al Scourby for me; even though he reads the KJV.

This man reads as though he'd never read the text prior to the recording. Poor emphases, poor phrasing.

What I like about this narrator is that he doesn't lip smack or sniff.

It is a non-dramatic reading. It is intentionally devoid of emotion.

Maybe you would prefer a more dramatised reading. I personally cannot bear music playing behind the reading - I find it VERY distracting. I find this reader quite soothing. I’m doing a Bible in 30 days, mostly listening with some reading. I’m listening at 1.5x speed. It’s fascinating.
