“There was a Christian who embraced Islam and read Surat-al-Baqara and Al-`Imran, and he used to write (the revelations) for the Prophet. Later on he returned to Christianity again and he used to say: "Muhammad knows nothing but what I have written for him." - Bukhari 3617

You forgot the latter half of the hadith where Momo repeatedly defiles the guy's grave after killing him.
@Apollo1989V
@Apollo1989V Ай бұрын
The second half is either fabricated or Mo and his gang kept on desecrating his gave. The second half goes that he later died, was buried, and his body kept on ending up on the surface. At first, Mo was suspected of digging him out. When it happened again, they started to believe that the earth would not accept him like Mo claimed. Many Hadiths that are considered Sahih contain fictional elements. The first part is probably true, while the second part of this Hadith contains fictional elements.

@@Apollo1989V They didn't necessarily believe the claim that it was the earth after it repeatedly happened, just said it wasn't humans. It's probably true, and Mo probably kept sending fanatics to dig up the grave until the Christians figured it must've been an animal or something.

@@Apollo1989V I believe the Hadith is true. However, I believe it was Muhammed’s companions who kept on digging the man’s grave to cause fear to the others who didn’t believe in Islam.

I like how the Qu'ran said a False prophet would suffer in their Aorta (heart), and then it was his Aorta (heart) that eventually killed Mohamhead, after he had been poisoned by the woman (that he murdered her family). Christianity : A Virgin Jewish Girl gives Birth to our savior. Islam : A surviving Jewish woman poisoned Mohamhead and he eventually died like a false prophet. Thanks Qu'ran !

Umar already has fulfilled this challenge Narrated `Umar (bin Al-Khattab): My Lord agreed with me in three things: -1. I said, "O Allah's Messenger, I wish we took the station of Abraham as our praying place (for some of our prayers). So came the Divine Inspiration: And take you (people) the station of Abraham as a place of prayer (for some of your prayers e.g. two rak`at of Tawaf of Ka`ba)". (2.125) -2. And as regards the (verse of) the veiling of the women, I said, 'O Allah's Messenger! I wish you ordered your wives to cover themselves from the men because good and bad ones talk to them.' So the verse of the veiling of the women was revealed. -3. Once the wives of the Prophet made a united front against the Prophet and I said to them, 'It may be if he (the Prophet) divorced you, (all) that his Lord (Allah) will give him instead of you wives better than you.' So this verse (the same as I had said) was revealed." (66.5). Sahih al-Bukhari 402 😂😂😂😂

'Twenty Three Years: A Study of the Prophetic Career of Mohammad' by Iranian scholar, Ali Dashti dispels the idea the Koran is perfect. Ali Dashti writes: "The Qur'an contains sentences which are incomplete and not fully intelligible without the aid of commentaries; foreign words, unfamiliar Arabic words, and words used with other than the normal meaning; adjectives and verbs inflected without observance of the concords of gender and number; illogically and ungrammatically applied pronouns which sometimes have no referent; and predicates which in rhymed passages are often remote from the subjects. These and other such aberrations in the language have given scope to critics who deny the Qur'an's eloquence."

Does the "surah like it" have to be in Arabic? Because between AD 658 and 680, an illiterate, anglo-saxon cow-herd, by name Caedmon, was inspired in a dream to compose the following hymn in Old English. Now let us praise Heaven-Kingdom's Guardian, The Maker's might and His mind's thoughts, The work of the glory-father - of every wonder, eternal Lord. He established a beginning. He shaped for men's sons Heaven as a roof, the holy Creator; Then middle-earth mankind's guardian, Eternal Lord, afterwards prepared the earth for men, The Lord Almighty.

My post, Surah/Quran Like It Observations (Chronological Order) S 17:88 Say: If man and jinn came together to bring the like of this quran, they would not bring the like of it, even if they were an assistant to one another. S 10:38 Or do they say: He has fabricated it? Say: Bring a surah the like of it and invoke whom you can instead of Allah if you are truthful. S 11:13 Or they say: He has fabricated it. Say: Then bring ten surahs the like of it, fabricated, and invoke whom you can instead of Allah if you are truthful. S 52:33-34 Or do they say: He has made it up? Rather, they do not believe. So let them bring a hadith the like of it if they are truthful. S 2:23 And if you are in doubt about what we have sent down upon our slave then bring a surah of the like of it and invoke your witnesses instead of Allah if you are truthful. In S 17 the author denies that, were man and jinn to come together to bring the like of this quran, they would. This is something like the 50th surah, so not the whole quran so far. In S 10 the author calls people to bring a surah, one, and to invoke a witness or two, if they're truthful. In S 11, ten are called for. In S 52, a hadith is called for. Finally, in S 2 it's back to one surah. But here the author says: of (or from) the like of it. Did he think that there was a body of literature that was like it from which one might bring something? The author fluctuates between one and ten surahs. Why? Why does he go from quran to surahs to hadith to surah? The author calls for people to invoke deities as witnesses, 'if they're truthful'; shouldn't the Muslims too invoke their deity, namely Allah, as their witness? And what exactly might his audience have understood by 'surah'? Might he have meant a chapter, called a surah, from a book, also called quran, of one or other of the other competing 'prophets' in the Arabian Peninsula? Further reading: Surah Like It A quran? @@JamalBaraja You have been ‘studying’ all those years and can still say you believe “Every word in the Quran is true”! You believe it is ‘a consistent book’ (Quran 29:23) from Allah as otherwise there would be inconsistency (Quran 4:82). So, you believe: * That it is a ‘clear book’ ‘that you may understand’ (Quran 12:1-2, 43:1-3) and ALSO that there are verses that are ‘unspecific’ and ‘no-one knows it’s interpretation except Allah’ (Quran 3:7). * That Allah created the heavens after that the earth (Quran 79:27-30) and ALSO that Allah created all on the earth and then the heavens (Quran 2:29). * That ‘no bearer of burdens will bear the burdens of another’ (Quran 17:13-15, 6:164; 35:18, 53:38) and ALSO that some will bear their own burdens plus some of the burdens of those whom they misguide (Quran 16:25, 29:13). * That those in hell will eat from the Tree of Zaqqum (Quran 37:62-66, 44:43-44; 56:51-53), but ALSO that there will be no food for them except the Bitter Dhari (Quran 88:2-6) and also that there will be no food except the discharge of wounds (Quran 69:25,30-36). The Quran has many contradicting and inconsistent statements. It cannot all be true.

The challenge in the Quran is very subjective. Like it in what way? And who will be the neutral third party to judge whether the challenge has been met? If these questions about the challenge are answered, and a third party agrees the challenge has been met, will Muslims apostate because the challenge, presumed in the Quran to be unwinnable, has been answered?
@nimagougol8781

The challenge came up when the Muslims had no powers, being tortured and slaughtered. Some surah’s are in different dialects, changing the tribes with their native. Of course the enemies rushed to answer right away. You just heard one from the video, they mentioned Surah Jin and pharaohs quotes, basically Quran itself. This stupidity is a miracle too.

The judge doesn’t have to be neutral, any Arabic scholar or even native speaker. Though to make it neutral, shuffle the imitated Surah with 10 other Surah’s, give it to a Christian Arab and ask him to find out. If he can’t, the challenge is met and I will be the first to leave.

I remember on one of David and AP's livestreams, and someone said something like, "How to make a religion, Step 1. Base religious text on abrogation. Step 2. Sort book out of order." I can't imagine much more insulting to God than blaming the Quran on him. The whole, "it only works in Arabic" is nonsense. The Sufi poet Rumi is still great when translated to English. Al-Ghazali is still able to philosophize even after you translate him. Apparently Allah's speech is so deficient that it defies the ability of humanity to translate.

Shakespeare's literary works are still amazing when in modern English. A Mighty Fortress is Our God is a masterpiece whether in German or not. Glori Patri sounds divine whether in Latin or English. And on and on we could go. Sometimes stuff might sound awkard, especially when directly translated, for example sign language rhyming works differently than spoken language. The Bible has been translated from more than one language, but yet the Quran fails to even read like a highschooler wrote it for English class?

Took advantage of ChatGPT Me The following quote is from the Qur’an: “Say, if mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants” Could you try producing a quote in the style of the Qur’an? ChatGPT Certainly. Here’s a quote written in the style of the Qur’an: “Say, if the heavens and the earth were to unite in their wisdom, and the stars and the seas in their might, they could not bring forth the truth that is hidden within My decree, for none can equal the command of the Most High, nor match the knowledge that flows from His eternal will.” This mirrors the cadence and style of Qur’anic language, reflecting themes of divine omnipotence and the incomparable nature of God’s word.

I won't pray to a space-rock-in-a-big-black-box, but everyone pray to their own god, as they understand him... The Muslims just remind us all to pray, which is a good idea.

As a Muslim, I believe that the concept of Allah being "Al-Ahad" (The One and Indivisible) is central to Islamic monotheism (Tauheed). The Quran explicitly states in Surah Al-Ikhlas, "Say, He is Allah, [who is] One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent" (Quran 112:1-4). This verse emphasizes that Allah is unique and cannot be divided into parts or associated with other beings. The idea of the Trinity, as presented in Christianity, suggests that God exists as three distinct persons-the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit-who are co-equal and co-eternal. From an Islamic perspective, this raises theological challenges, as it seems to contradict the oneness and indivisibility of God. If God is truly infinite and perfect, then any concept of division or association with other entities would imply a limitation, which is not compatible with the Islamic understanding of Allah. The Quran also highlights the importance of worshiping Allah alone, without associating partners with Him. In Surah An-Nisa (4:171), it is stated, "O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, 'Three'; desist-it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son." Therefore, as Muslims, we respectfully disagree with the concept of the Trinity. We believe in the absolute oneness of Allah, who is self-sufficient, all-powerful, and beyond any form of division or association. Our worship and devotion are directed solely to Allah, who alone is worthy of all praise and worship. I appreciate the opportunity to share the Islamic perspective, and I hope this helps to clarify our beliefs. If you have any further questions or wish to discuss this topic more, I'm open to continuing the conversation.

*God's incarnation* 1. If God is truly omnipotent, why would He need to become human to understand His creation? 2. Can the Creator, who knows every atom and every star, truly need to experience life as a human to comprehend it? 3. Does the One who designed the intricacies of the universe require human limitations to set an example? 4. If God is all-knowing, isn't it diminishing His divine knowledge to suggest He needed a human experience? 5. Can a being of infinite knowledge truly lack understanding of anything within His creation? 6. Why would the all-powerful Creator need to experience life as His creation to understand their struggles? 7. Isn't it an insult to God's omniscience to claim He needed to become human to guide us? 8. How can a God who created everything from nothing be said to need a human form to connect with His creation? 9. Does He who created not know every aspect of our existence already, without needing to take on human form? 10. Why suggest God needed to learn or experience when His knowledge is already absolute and perfect?

I've read the Koran several times and it is SO badly written. Painfully so. Its even worse if you re-read it and ignore the translator's improvements (in square brackets in my version). So much of it is just incoherent. I will admit that one or two of the surahs have a Psalm like quality and are OKish from a literary point of view. Whoever edited together the rest seems to have gathered lots of fragments from other sources and strung them together without any apparent concern for flow of thought or coherence. Yikes!

@@xn85d2 Angel means people with true beliefs on earth. We told the angels to obey Adam, they all obeyed, the devil did not obey, it was a woman. In another verse, it is understood that the name of that woman was iblis, another interpretation can be made. You need to think carefully.
@xn85d2
@xn85d2 Ай бұрын
@@necmettinmutlu306 Firstly, that's horribly illogical. Adam was the first man, so how can there be other humans just milling around at the creation of Adam? And if the people with true beliefs do not obey the command of Allah, then true belief involves disobedience to Allah. Secondly, the Quran contradicts that idea of what angels are: Quran 11:31 "31. “I do not say to you that I possess the treasures of God, nor do I know the future, nor do I say that I am an angel. Nor do I say of those who are despicable in your eyes that God will never give them any good. God is Aware of what lies in their souls. If I did, I would be one of the wrongdoers.”" Now this is Noah, speaking, who according to the Quran is a true believer, but he says he's not an angel. Quran 37:150-157 "150. Or did We create the angels females, as they witnessed?” 151. No indeed! It is one of their lies when they say. 152. “God has begotten.” They are indeed lying. 153. So He preferred girls over boys? 154. What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 155. Will you not reflect? 156. Or do you have some clear proof? 157. Then bring your book, if you are telling the truth." So there are no female angels. Which means that if angels means true believers then there are no female true believers. Which contradicts Quran verses about Mary. So that cannot be correct. Quran 12:31 "31. And when she heard of their gossip, she invited them, and prepared for them a banquet, and she gave each one of them a knife. She said, “Come out before them.” And when they saw him, they marveled at him, and cut their hands. They said, “Good God, this is not a human, this must be a precious angel.” " So there's a distinction between humans and angels.
