I literally grew up with my mum's garden outside of my window and an orchard and a small vineyard in the backyard. Handmade sausages, homemade pickled everything, homemade juice, fresh vegetables, mushrooms in the nearby forests... all a normal part of my life. Watching these videos makes me realize what a privilege it is to grow up like that.

Seriously, my mother, her sister and her mother supplied us with all of our vegetables, bread, eggs, milk, our beef, pork and and chicken, and some of our fruit (there were orchards nearby that gave us the rest). And we had quality year round with canning and freezing. Now that I live in the city and those people are all gone, I have to pay so much for local food. I didn't appreciate what I had when I was younger, and now I really wish I still had it.

I grew up with lemon, orange, tangerine and other fruit trees around, and I miss having access to fruit like that now that I'm gone. We also had corn, potatoes, black and red beans, homemade cheese and butter that my grandma still makes, yogurt and more... Gosh I had such a great childhood, I'm so grateful for it. And yes, it is in fact a huge privilege. ❤️

Food is one of the reasons why I keep coming back to Italy, they don't joke with food. Italian gastronomy is so rich, each town has its specialties. It's probably due to geography and history. A fertile land with moderate climates, similar to France, with some extra sun for some extra flavor. And a late reunification with still a lot of very vivid local cultures.

Gosh, I keep on being reminded why we say that Italian cuisine is one of the best in the world. I'm not Italian but I am so happy about how food is the heart of the country, the work, the family, the pride of the people. About sharing. About good products...I'm glad Jolly is showing that because when I was living in England, most people said it was a hassle to eat, took too much time and effort, some even said if they had a pill containing a full meal like Willy Wonka, they would gladly take it over having their meals. As a French person, I brought back food for us to all share and the only one who shared my meal in the office was my Italian colleague. Food is love people and these videos really warm my heart

Italy really has an incredible cultural, culinary, historical, landscape, artistic, industrial, ingenious, taste richness. people generally love each other in italy, let's say more than the average of rest of the world. people love also share them stories during the meal and build strong relations, they also often have a desire to help each other. also in business it is like this, italians put passion basically in everything they do, and with quality and good results, that's also why often big companies have italian managers in the control of the key company departments

My great grandmother was from Italy and she sadly past away before I was born but I grew up hearing about her amazing Italian cooking. My dad has tried to replicate her meals but he just doesn’t have the touch for Italian food. He often refuses to make any Italian because he knows it can’t compare to his grandmother’s food. One day I will get to visit Italy and I will visit my family and finally be able to try delicious home cooked Italian food. My dad has warned me though because apparently Italians like to stuff you with food and are constantly trying to get you to eat more.

@@ciaoatutti307 In fact it could be pasta with Bolognese sauce. Do you remember if it was spaghetti or tagliatelle? If they were tagliatelle, that was it. The tagliatelle are egg oasta, the spaghetti is not. Culinary Italy is historically divided in 2 by the Apennines. I'll give you an example: to the south spaghetti, olive oil, sheep's, goat's, buffalo's cheeses, pizza, mainly sheep and beef meats and so on; in the north egg pasta, butter, cow cheeses, polenta, mainly beef and pork, therefore many cured meats. Even in desserts!

I think I would always choose the simple, home cooked food than some fancy, tiny portion at some ridiculously upscale restaurant. Besides it looking absolutely delicious, just the experience of being able to relax and enjoy delicious, hearty food with kind, genuine people instead of sitting in a stuffy restaurant worrying about using the wrong fork or embarrassing myself makes it much more desirable. Everything looked so good, but I was drooling over the mushrooms. Also, I'm terrified of flying in a normal situation, but I think I would pass out from terror on that tiny plane

I just figured out how to do this. You guys (techs included) are the best. Been watching you forever but didn't know how to communicate. Then this giant rectangular slab of granite materialized in my bedroom and suddenly I know how to speak with you. Any who, love you guy's. Please keep doing what you do 😊

This is the kind of trip I would love to take to Italy! I'm also a pilot so doing some of those aerobatics would be amazing. I've been loving this series. Great job to the whole Jolly team for another great chain of videos. Can't wait to see what you guys do next.

italy food sucks and it gross ! Italian food is really bland compared to other cuisines, especially the Chinese and Spanish cuisine. The Chinese and Spanish cuisine has so much more flavour and they use so many different ingredients! They even spice up their food and can make it taste delicious! Italian food is not comparable to the Chinese and Spanish cuisine.

I also love how Italians are so family oriented. They love food and good company. The table spreads are lustrous & plentiful.

Did anyone else get suspicious vibes from Ollie while they were advertising the Opera browser? I don't know, after seeing the AI episodes if I see a "relaxed" Ollie, I think, is that really Ollie?

A tip would be to look for light occlusion, like between their elbows on the table or the shadow Josh's hand casts across Ollie's shirt when he waves. It's possible to add these things in post, but I seriously doubt they have a special effects team working on that level of detail for a youtube video, haha I think the AI series was really fun and hilarious, but the feeling of "unreality" it causes can be disconcerting, make sure to ground yourselves if you need to, everyone 🧡

My family in Italy grow grapes and make wine. The family is Ciolfi. My great grandfather gave up the rights when he immigrated to America. But my family still owns it. San Lorenzo is the name of the wine.
