A freaking four-second audio clip made me cry. I love Max and Chloe so much! Forever my favorite love story of all time, and always the one that’ll hold the most special place in my heart. Their story is what got me to accept I’m queer and stop mentally killing myself. Don’t know where I’d be without Life Is Strange. Would give anything to have just one more game with them together as a happy couple.

The political discourse around gay marriage years before and even after the Supreme Court's decision influenced media and even changed many games, movies, and TV shows. To this very day, conservatives are still pushing back against LGBTQ representation in media. 6 years ago, it was way worse. American conservatism has directly opposed queer rights on multiple occasions now and in the past. I have to agree with OP that this line was probably removed due to political discourse and the game being developed and launched at a very dark time for LGBTQ rights and acceptance. To deny this is pure ignorance. To say that American conservatism is not in opposition of LGBTQ rights is utterly preposterous and undoubtedly moronic.
