Sadly I'm an INFJ Enneagram 1 type compounded by 20%choleric and 80% melancholic...sigh

I agree with everything you share 🤣the INTJ stereotype vilain character is hilarious - probably represent an extreme immature Ni Te version, without Fi developed Type 1 Ni dom, seem to be more stubborn/extreme about their visions/goals, more "conflictual" I met two INFJ e1 : the disagreeable grandmother of a past friend imposing her way of doing and plans - and a past friend who abandoned all his friends to pursuit his objectives. They seem more stricts, rigid. Probably Enneatype 1 goes well with vilains, because of the anger issue. 9 very compatible with alienation, in extreme cases "using spirituality to escape physical reality" (from one of the books about Enneagram that I read) I am comfortable not being human & "alienated" 5 Would be interesting to discover the most common combination in tritypes.

Infj 1w9 get confused for 6w5 ISTP at first glance until people see that you're a little too good at Fe.

Curious about the INFJ e9 video... I was hoping for a bit more arguments regarding traits and functions (for example an INFJ e1 would be more like that or that compared to other INFJ or feel those kind of contradictory pulls, etc). Yes, wanting to resonatw with favorite heroes or villains will happen subconsciously and might cause you to mistype, also sometimes as these are stated on some enneagram websites (famous people and fictional characters).

If I am a 1, it makes sense it’s rare, because in online discussions, it does often seem that I have an uncommon perspective for an INFJ. If Hitler and Jesus were both INFJs, I wonder if they might have also been 1s. Both wanted to change external reality for sure. Whatever Hitler was, I think everyone can agree that he was certainly hard to pin down. Quite possibly typing him may be problematic as he seems likely to have had a psychopathic personality or other serious disorder. Maybe this explains his seeming comfort and even pleasure in seeing people suffer at his hands. For someone who got incredible fame and success early in his reign, he never seemed to be happy. This is a common theme for villains, often allied to their insecurity causing them to act pompous and mocking to give the impression they are content and confident. A classic mask.

Hitler was an obvious 8. He was a rabid social Darwinist who wanted life to be all about struggle and survival of the fittest.

I wondered if Hitler was E1 as well, though counterphobic E6 is also a strong possibility it seems to me. It's hard to tell with people who become icons, though, light or dark. They take on the prevailing type of the zeitgeist and give up their own identity to the collective that they seed.

The enneagram (like MBTI) types are not equally distributed among mankind. Even looking at countries you can tell some enneagram types are more common than others. I think you can also type countries with an enneagram (Germany for example I would type as 1). Having MBTI as an additional permutation makes things quite complicated. Is having E6 as common for the INFJ actually that enneagram type? Or is it an unhealthy E9 that behaves like an E6?

I don’t think I am an INFJ. I think I am most likely an INFP. But I relate very well to type 1. My core seems to be centered around the idea of pure morality. I had considered type 9 for a while, but I’m beginning to think I am more rigid with morality, at my core. However, as far as the way I express morality externally and desiring a more pure morality, there is a certain flexibility and adaptability that I feel must come with that. After all, within a more pure morality, flexibility would inherently be a part of it. It would be immoral to impose my own sense of morality onto others. If I want to meet a certain standard, that should be my own choice. But I shouldn’t assert that on others. Otherwise, I would contradict my own principles, as a result

Wouldn't typical action/fantasy movie protagonist characters be ESTPs or ESTJs, though due to their ability to take action in physical world?

Hey, Ren. It's been a long while since I commented on your videos, and I was intrigued when I saw the title. I'm INFJ 1w9 with 154 as tritype. One would think I'm mistyped since it's probably super uncommon? I'm not against to the possibility of mistyping, either by enneagram or mbti, since this tritype is too isolating for an INFJ who doesn’t want alienation and an INFJ is too severed with concrete for a very involved e1. But I wanna tell you my experience, regardless I'm mistyped or not. When I saw Gandalf, Galadriel, etc being typed as INFJ 1, I was exasperated with the 'wise sage or morally perfect' stereotype since I didn’t connect with them. My INFP 6 twin saw me as similar to Alucard (such a messy char) from Castlevania show instead, despite she didn’t know his type at all. I even thought I was INTJ since I can be too pushy with ideal visions, and my twin shut it down by telling that I'm suck at handling Te and Fi. I thought I'm not a Ni dom after all. She said no, my thoughts and talks are akin to a blackhole, and I'm not too connected with my body and less alert with surroundings. At my wit's end, I thought maybe I'm not e1. But my temper, pacified by wing 9 half of the time, is often felt as 1. I don’t like being alienated and having 5 doesn't help me in this regard. 4? Absolutely facepalm. But I was in Ni-Ti loop for a long time (my twin had to knock my head hard), only developing Fe properly at age 18 and so on. The Se grip was often. I was not in a good shape. Even though I'm in a healthier state now, when I crack jokes as my 1 goes to integration 7 to avoid alienation, and my wing 9 made me more patient and blend with people, I'm still prone to the strategies of my tritype. My twin, who's a 641, helped me a lot to stay grounded to here. My theory is that core 1 might be made when Ni-Ti receives input from Fe-Se (surroundings + people). Through Ni-Ti process, they'll be alarmed of what could happen to the humanity when the input is negative constantly. Depends on how unreliable the people around them, they might grew up using e5 strategy too. Just my two cents.
