I hate having misophonia like my moms boyfriend - i can literally hear him chewing in my mind as i type this- deliberately chews and smacks like he was raised in a dam barn with cows, and if someone is crunching chips like I get it their chips but its nightmarish and my mom has tmj so when she chews her jaw pops (｡・`ω´･) so having this brain disorder I hate eating around people because I dont wanna like make eating sounds or crunch something and I feel really bad for getting mad at people if they dont do it on purpose because they can't do nothing about it

i also have misophonia, i still live with my parents and they are my number one trigger, i love them so much and i feel so horrible asking them to chew quieter. i also have to stay away from my dogs because they also trigger it. i also have anxiety which doesn't help it at all

You see if you focus more on skills such as foraging for edible plants in the wild, sewing, fishing, weaving, construction, and cooperation you have a much better chance of survival. Smacking, slurping, and/or chewing loudly annoys me so much. If I'm at the table eating and someone else starts eating too, I'll get up and leave until they're finished. i have it too (although it is self-diagnosed) mine include chewing,swallowing,breathing,dogs drinking,eating and licking things,knitting needles rubbing together,whistling,and even visual things like shaking pens and pencils, shaking and bouncing legs and jaw movements when chewing. (there might be a few others though)
