WOW!!! Such amazing ideas. Well done. I too am a renter and have made several changes/upgrades/decor statements to my 'Home'. I did a DIY small non-electric lamp in my kitchen but used a remote control Puck Light. I like your choice much better and will be ordering these Amazon bulbs, ASAP!! The pendants are stunning. I love your design, and creative ideas. So for the lighting can you use the bulbs in any pendant light since the bulbs are screw on? I love the lights you have but not sure if they will look right with my other lights over my breakfast nook. They are bird cage open fixture.

The benny to having textured ceilings are that flaws are very easily camouflaged. That spackled hole will not be seen when the lights come down

I'm just being nosey, but roughly how much have you spent on your apartment. I know you can take it all with you to reuse, but I was just curious. I've loved all of them even though I own a home. I still enjoy ideas. Do you think the landlord would want any of these to stay, assuming you removed the Commandhooksand made the improvements permanent? He'd be able to charge more. You could use 1/4 round inside the wood to help minimize the contact paper. Why did the stop the 1/4 round at the end of the bar top and didn't place it on the narrow end as well as that cabinet, if you look on the other side it is on that cabinet and dining room? Just curious.

Also you should not reattach the boards for an hour after putting the strips on the wall. That makes it so that the boards will not fall off.

This fake gold hardware and green cabinets is the 2023 version of the 1970s-80s avocado green. I'm so glad I don't do the trendy stuff because I actually like to keep money in my pocket and I'm not into just being a consumer slave. I just hope the next house I own I won't have to undo this trendy black walls, black brick, green cabinets, and fake gold... it took about a decade to get the 80s out of homes so it's odd that people now buy it.

I loved the colour, but doesn't make sense why you didn't just paint the island wall, instead of putting up peel and stick wallpaper that wasn't wide enough. You can see the join and you can see it didn't take the paint that well.
