Jeff Tweedy performing his final encore song (very acoustically), of the first show on his winter solo tour for 2013-14 in Kansas City, MO on December 3rd 2013 to a packed house at the Uptown Theater.
(note: Jeff told the crowd to be quiet, b/c he completely went acoustic for this song only.. The random, obnoxiously-annoying drunk girl next to us, didn't understand his instructions. Great show regardless!)

A little unbridled enthusiasm is welcome, but I agree it sounds like a few people in the crowd were out of control. Some people just don't know how to behave at a solo acoustic show, or they got too drunk, or they're just generally assholes. Regardless, Jeff knows how to deal with it in a way that doesn't ruin the experience for everyone. That comes from being an empathetic, road-tested performer who cares about getting his songs across.

That was the stupidest, most idiotic crowd I've ever had the misfortune to be a part of. But Tweedy was excellent.
