Yes, i'd just do a little research on some solo runs for your experience to have a better flow, like for instance regain locations and what spots on the map to avoid due to increased AI.

Its really fun if you play super tactical, also use a supressor to not alert other AI and you can kill them one shot in the head with every weapon

It's really not. I suck at it but a few things make it much more possible: Run a silencer if you have one on a weapon. Only engage NPCs for a short time. Once they start draining your plates too much or pushing you close to death just disengage and leave. They will de-aggro from you eventually. Don't push into an exfil too quickly as there might be players camping the exfil. I've found the longer I stay on the map the more difficult the exfil will be.

Attempting to solo in DMZ these days is very difficult, especially since the majority of latter faction tier missions require PVP and once you're done missions, PVP seems to be the only enjoyment out of it, turning the entire area more tense in every situation.

Welcome to the pain of Solo DMZ Aculite. It can definitely be a challenge, but also is very rewarding. I've played solo basically since the game mode came out, and find it far better than going in with a bunch of randoms. Bring us more Aculite!

"Seems like solo is more rewarding.." I guess it depends at what level your missions are at. I watch Westie and Stodeh play everyday live and they clearly have enough of a challenge to play as a duo. From what I see, a two men team seems pretty spot on for DMZ.

I mostly play multiplayer and have been trying to play DMZ solo for the last several weeks, but I tended to die a lot trying to solo the Stronghold. I'm currently working on the same missions you are. I used to find IFAKs all of the time, but I can't find an IFAK at all now that I have the mission on. Seems to be my luck. Nice to know I'm not the only one having these problems. Great video though, and if you had fun, I wouldn't mind seeing you play some more.

What you said about there not being a reason to care about your life, but you wait until you are holding a key you've been searching for for days, the gas is spreading, your being hunted two of your mates are down. You've got choices to make and potentially friendships to burn. The pressure/stakes build up with later missions. Especially where you need to take items across different maps and if you die in Ashika before planting the item, you'll need to go back to Mazzy and search for it again. I hope to see more DMZ content from you, and I'm sure Stone is itching to infil with you.

you have to extract immediately after grabbing shit, ive done solo a few times... if you extract fast enough most players are still gathering stuff and teaming... also try to stay on your side of the map... everyone spawns in on across the map

Solo DMZ is absolutely more rewarding but it's also hard. As long as you play smart and don't run head first into a bunch of AI you can do really well. I tend to mostly go on foot and dart between buildings to stay out of sight. You can run away from fights you can't win and take the ones you think you can. I prefer to play solo most of the time unless I'm doing a regain.

I pretty much play exclusively solo DMZ. I like the challenge. I'm out of missions that I can do, so I mainly try to kill other players. When you're bad like me, going 1v3 often ends badly.

It's not more difficult with a group, the gamemode is intended for 3 players or more, it's more difficult the less players you have, being solo, the hardest. You can also see if your teammates have res kits by their life, if they have the black and white health icon or not. The chemist gives you the M13B, that's the only way to have it, to extract it from dmz, either by killing and grabbing the wep of the chemist which is the m13b ofc, or by stealing it from another player and extracting as well. Plate generation/dropping from AI doesn't depend on headshots, it's random. You should always look for hostage rescue missions for extraction, they're much safer cuz the LZ doesn't appear on the map and it's only yours to use. So even if you intend to play solo, you should always start with a team, cuz if you get killed, you can ask for help to other teams and keep playing, sometimes people won't even loot you up. There is just no reason to not start with 2 other players at all, unless it's specified on a faction mission.

The most punishing part about dying for sure is losing a 3 plate. Being able to be 1 tapped by a sniper is game changing

As someone who solo plays, you have to play it stealthy majority of the time unless you absolutely don't have a choice. I pretty much avoid other players. I'll completely abandon a mission if the area is too hot

So herd you talking about war trace. There is a string for shutting off pasger war trace. I'm not a pro but in setting by wartrac preference. It says driver and passenger. Think that should work for you. Or driver can push down on controller to shut it off. Your team mate . but ya. Even if your next to the car it seem that you can here your own if on . and it use to be very quiet for mine. And now its preaty loud. So I've had to in game shut it off. But hopefully that's helpful. For u.

Pretty much a snap shot of solo dmz life. Can be a little soul destroying. They defo need a backpack type slot outside game. So you could take put a spare vest etc put in that. Then if killed you bring that one in.

I've been much, much more successful in solos. Having teammates is always the reason I lose. Greed, overcommitting, bad/no communication. I think DMZ would be way more fun if everyone started solo, with the possibility of teaming up along the way being more rewarding and interesting.

I have a simple rule. I never pick up anyone unless 1) the have a good quality mic 2) gave a good fight or seemed to be good via movement/shots. There are so many bots like the ones you let join the first time. Dude literally sees you and keeps driving straight as you shot him. Lol
