I just got a black on black, although you have my first choice. I settled due to 49k price. I traded 2021 type R which they gave me 40K. I love this car! The type R got more compliments and attention, which I dont miss.

Gray would also be my choice, but not a fan of the Red interior. Would choose a Black interior if an option... (or retrofit when the parts come out)

Why did I get mine? Because back in August, I got tired of searching for a CTR at MSRP across many East Coast states. It makes zero sense to get a CTR with markups, even for 5K over. Both are mechanically the same car and perform literally the same on the track (when using the same tires). There is nothing out there that you can get brand new that outperforms this platform for less money, especially with a manual transmission. People love to bring up the M240 in the conversation, ignoring the fact that it's a coupe with unusable rear seats, something I need. Others say the M340 is the one, but they ignore another fact that a base M340 is in a lower tier in terms of performance. After adding stuff that comes standard in the ITS like the performance tires, adaptive suspension, parking sensors, heating seats, etc., the price delta becomes as wide as $10K. The Supra is a coupe, the Camaro SS is another two-seater, the Mustang GT seats 2, the Elantra N is faster in a straight line (with a DCT), the Golf R is also faster in a straight line, and the Corolla GR is cool but has a super tiny and cheap interior. None of them offer the same fast-turning confidence as a CTR/ITS.

I just traded in my 23 CT4-V Blackwing for the same exact spec Type-S that you have. Love both cars and you’re right, the driving engagement in the Type-S is excellent. I just made the trade to save some money.

Beautiful car! I was looking at the Lexus is500 for awhile since it was released until the ITS came out. Now I can't decide whether I want a fun nimble manual car or the last reliable v8 from Lexus. What do you think?

Other than getting annoyed when its traffic because of the manual transmission. No regrets drove my friends is500 it feels fast from the launch but it missing soul. Like the adrenaline when u actually drive the car its feels more connected and just wants to get driven hard. And i know i ll get healthy hp gains with basic mods so yeah. No regrets

Can you share why you unloaded the CT4-V Blackwing? curious since I am considering one (Non ISMA)

It got some accidental damage from something falling on it while at the dealership and since it was an IMSA edition with the matte style paint, it was very hard to match the paint. After not having it for a prolonged period of time the dealership and I came to an agreement and I decided to get into the Integra Type S. I loved the CT4-V Blackwing. Great mix of performance and luxury. The no lift shift is an awesome feature from the factory. I did always have my eyes on the Integra Type S anyway so after the incident I decided to get that. If you want all out power then the CT4-V Blackwing will be the car; if you want a mix of still good power, with much more aftermarket support the Integra Type S is a great option. Looks are subjective but I was never the biggest fan of the rear of the CT4-V, front I think looks amazing. Integra Type S I also love the the way it looks. Plus I have an S2000 and have a soft spot for JDM cars as I've owned a ton over the years since I've been young. And as someone who enjoys modifying cars, the Integra Type S has much more aftermarket support when it comes to modifying. I would say take a look at both in person and test drive both as they are really different cars, but both great in their own way. RWD with tons more power vs FWD with just overall lots of fun and engagement in the driving experience.

No problem! I only drove it for 600 miles so I can't speak about the long term reliability but the Blackwing cars are track focused so i'm sure they will put up with abuse and do just fine if you maintain them. What I miss about the CT4-V Blackwing is the power, cooled seats, and no lift shift. Other than that, the Integra Type S is just overall a super fun and engaging car to drive and as someone who has owned more cars than I should have lol With some higher horsepower cars, I'm starting to realize it's not all about power. So I didn't mind the decrease in power. Plus the paint on my IMSA made me barely drive it since I was trying to keep it in pristine condition (being a matte-ish paint you can't really buff it if it gets slight damage). The Integra Type S I don't need to be as paranoid about it lol But the CT4-V Blackwing is a beast of a car!

@@DrivenDistrictI really appreciate this feedback. Originally I was going for the 5BW, but it’s just so big. The 4 is awesome, but the rear seat size and rear end look are two bigger negatives. I love the looks and packaging of the ITS, but ugh to FWD. This is replacing my old F80, but in the meantime I’ve been driving a 21 VW GLI and it has been way more fun than I thought. Love the 3200lb manual toss-ability. Just sucks at getting power down in less than ideal conditions and of course no little power slides in the ITS.
