I use a harbor freight low-profile jack, but even that isn't low enough to fix under the front to get to the main jack point. So I drive the car up on a couple of scrap pieces of 2x10 lumber which is just enough to raise the front to get the jack under. A few pumps and up we go...jack stands under the pinch welds. Not a big fan of using control arms. Stay safe!

Facts bro, thank you you too

I have seen some KZbin videos where they use low profile tire ramps to get the front high enough up to use a regular jack. Not sure I would want to be reaching under a car to operate the jack however. Jacks fail. Reaching under the car to operate a regular 1.5T jack and it fails... game over. A long reach jack will definitely need the tire ramps in order to slide under the front splitter. I think the big HF jack would work, you might need an extension pipe to stay out from under the vehicle as you operate the jack.

Absolutely true. Should be easier way rather than needing ramps tho

I jack up my 24 accord on the pinch weld by the jacking point then use the jack stand on the jacking point. No issues

Right but this is about the ITS not the accord. Completely different situation. Thanks for watching tho

Yep, you basically need small ramps to drive up on first, then use a jack on that front jacking point you showed. You could use a jack on the typical pinch weld spots but it's just way less convenient, and there is the rear jacking point which is easy like you said. Other than that, you get quickjacks lol. I'm glad the front jack point is there but even at stock ride height you have to use low ramps first. I went and got a low long reach jack from harbor freight but it doesn't really matter because that front jack point is SO FAR back.

Yea bro, def is a mission.

Same bro. Ramps are only solution 😅 this front jack point is so far back even for long reach

@@zach2954 yeah when I went to change my oil a week ago it was the first time I had to get the car up in the air with a jack and I couldn't believe how far back it was

Hey, I love your videos, but this is incorrect. There are two mounting points on both sides. Very easy to get to and ride at the side of the vehicle. Check the owners manual under jack points. The jack that comes with the car easily fits these areas as do most scissor jacks. The man doesn’t speak of the points that you’re referring to. I say this just to avoid any potential injury or disaster in the event that you’re jacking to the wrong point (lol nothing dirty intended there) the only thing I can think of is that maybe we have a different version of the type S in Canada or that you have an earlier production model because I purchased mine in August 2024 so maybe they’ve changed it since then who knows. It’s page 709 in my manual and I went out to look and sure enough the checkpoint are there.

Awesome, I’ll check that page, the diagram in my video is official Honda so I’m not sure why they have it like that. But I’ll def check out the manual and do an update video, thanks for the info !
