Acura - Keyless Entry - Driver 1 & 2 fix

This addresses the issue where the Acura system read "Customizing not available until linked to remote".

I seen another video where all I really got out of it was to hit both button on my key fob and wait for the red light to blink twice .. it didn't work on the car, but I was bored and just trying anything .. key in ignition in off, in the on position, holding the keyfob close to the dash, and I just got pissed off and hit the keyfob twice, got the red blinks, got out of the car to do some shopping, jumped back in and the dash now said welcome Driver 2 and then ALL THE DAM SEATS AND MIRRORS WENT HAYWIRE...THEY WERE SET UP FOR A PERSON 4 FEET TALL...I did NOT know how to program the seat/mirror memory controls for 2 days, so I had to deal with GRANNY MODE everytime I got in my car ... I actually did find it funny because I wanted to get that keyfob to work and it did .. but at a cost...when I got back home, I opened the manual and fixed the mirror memory in 39 seconds. Did you guys now that if you have your wipers on intermittinly, and you are stopped at a red light for example and you want the car to " take a courtesy wipe" across the windshield, just remove your foot from the brake for a split second and the car will make ONE SWIPE across the windshield to " give you a peek" ....

I have a 2014 MDX, lost my driver 2 FOB and recently purchased a new OEM one off EBAY for $70. The dealer wants around $85 to program and cut the key, but I was wondering if there is a way to program the keyless part yourself and if the keys can be automatically cut with one of those standalone machines you see at various DIY places.

@@shaunmathew just recently bought a 2012 tsx and the key has to be lasercut. Had to call a locksmith to do it. Places like lowes couldnt cut key

Mine worked after the keyfob blinked once, then open and close door, hit lock then unlock on the keyfob and place key in ignition

Both of my keys are on driver 2. Does anybody know how to make my main key that says driver be at driver 1? To be clear. On the back of my key fob says driver one but when it's in the ignition it says driver two.
