subbed, from one audio guy to another. Undoing someone's mess is always a royal pain. Gotta have major patience to do this lol.

I did this once to my 1999 Grand Am GT. I cut the wires too close to the molex connector and since they were thin wire it pulled away from it leaving me in a bad spot. thankfully I knew someone who could re-pin it for me since he built drag cars often. I learned the hard way that day. Buying your DIY harness just makes it easy now.

What a travesty! I can't believe a "car audio" shop honestly thought that looked good... I'm sure the owner of the car is thrilled just to have sound again.

man, I’m sorry you had to go through that mess

The previous owner of my TL cut off the amp output connector and wired in 6, yes 6 single channel amps. I'm currently looking for a used harness to repair the damage. Then matching connectors to create a bypass harness, since the amp is gone.

This should help! This used amp works and comes with all the connectors so you can get the factory sound system back. www.ebay.com/itm/Acura-TL-Radio-Amplifier-Amp-07-08-2007-2008-OEM-Stereo-Audio-39186-SEP-A110/402018436136?epid=656225957&hash=item5d9a2a8428:g:f8YAAOSw9-ZeCkoi:sc:USPSPriorityFlatRateEnvelope!11967!US!-1

I know those wires well. Someone did a number on my navigation (Replaced with tablet) factory rca/mo3 jack, disconnected stock blown sub replaced sub wires with rca converter. Every stock speaker was blown 🤪

I swear someone made a harness extension for those stock amps if your upgrading 2ohm door and rear deck speaker. It saved me a bunch of time
@cityjenkins75004 жыл бұрын
You researched and built the radio harness... You should find the amp connector and make the bypass harness for that... so hopefully no one will ever cut harnesses for the TL again.... lol ill send you a pic of the last harness i had to rebuild...... i had to purchase a DSP harness, cut it in half and solder in to the factory harness.....

You probably can’t even drive manual or own a manual car lol
@CartoonWeasel4 жыл бұрын
Never buy a type S automatic. Not because its automatic but because the automatics type S are always beat to shit 4 times harder then a manual. Learn to drive stick (which is easy) or get something else. The hidden problems aren't worth it. Just get a normal tl and add the few bux in engine mods and make it better then a type S for less then a type S

I dont like it. You should have bought the ali express tesla style one that looks better, and is pretty much plug and play, instead of having wires all over the place

that radio has a ton of issues. But to each there own.
