Acus M1 Review and Convention Results

Bro, I knew you're gonna love it! This machine is a piece of art, so good in every aspect. I don't know if you tried the motor torque modes, but this is 3 or 4 top machines in one. btw I usually use the 4.1mm drive head and it's perfect for any style.

4.1 and 4.5 with m+2 are my favorites that 3 7 even u can get great comor work ive yet to try the -2 lowest torque setting cause x the 3.0 is so soft but im sure itll be great for super soft portraits

@@ivanmendoza8457 Yeah sure. It really depends on what style you are working on. For realistic portraits the softness of a -3 or -2 torque modes are incredible good, even with the 4.1 drive head. I usually use 14rs, 18rl cartridges with ease and the marvel of things is that you can do bold lines and soft shades with the same machine without changing strokes. I can not say this about any other machine. Sure, you can adjust your hand movements to any machine but it's definitely not the same thing.

I really wanted to use Acus, but from the first use I am disappointed with it. I've tried 3.7 and 4.5 stroke, all possible configurations for the last month and I don't think this Acus has a chance to compete with the Flux. It feels super soft as if it has no power at all... I feel that this maschine slows me down a lot

@@andone87 A lot of people confuses powerful hits with speed! Acus has one of the most powerful motor out there and you can do everything with it, I don't get when you say it's too soft! It has a powerful hit, it's super precise . I never had any issues pulling thick lines with my Acus. I even have videos here and on instagram doing so if you wonna check it out. The only reason I see that happening is if your machine came with some sort of issue!

@@andone87 wow not enough power u mean torque .....cause power u can just turn up the volts and u can turn up the torque setting with the acus the flux is a fixed direct drive with a egive that has poor response idk how u like that machine bit I got a flux max 4.5 I'm selling

ive been uysing it since it came out and its a great machine. used a lot of machine before pretty much all the machines on the market but nothing is like the acus. the pricing is better with all the strokes you get. the cleaning is heaven ! and the technical part of it is crazy good ! so much power but also smooth ! also dropped it a few times took it on planes did convention , and still runing like the first day

Modes are super sick changes torque setting if the motor its like having 12 machines in one by changin modes and stroke it feel compketely different u can go from a bng smooth shader to a color packing traditional lining monster it has alot to experiment with it

It's a shame that you didn't talk about the most important things about the technical structure of this machine, or how the engine's algorithm changes while reducing or increasing the engine's performance. It is precisely because of these things that Acus is different from other machines.

Yep the changing of torque is very important u can go from a m+2 which is like bold monster liner to the m- 1 smoothest shader ive ever used

In fact you can go from m-3 (soft) to m+2 (strongest) (m0 for standard)

Actually +2 is standard direct drive from the motor and the data sheet claims it's only a 9 watts. Not 12.. +1,0,-1 ECT are levels of "E-give"

Hi ! Thank you for the video ! Do you think the machine is appropriate to do some fine line tattoos (mostly single and 3rl) ? I’m using the flux since 2 years for now and my styles has changes and sometimes the flux seems to be a little bit stronger to do what I want.. I’m looking for another machine and I hesitate between the Acus and the Unlimited 3.5, if you can tell me your advices :) thank you so much!

I've been working on Flux for the last 2 years. A month ago I bought an Acus and I find it lacking in power. I tried different strokes, different motor torques, different speeds. Flux works faster and more accurately for me..

@@del8044 Bro you have a lot of world top artists saying that Acus is one of the best machines ever made, most of them former Flux and Bishop wands users, so trust them and not some stupid comments in some vid. Oliver Ayre for example, a huge bishop fan changed from bishop to Acus because he himself says that the Acus plays the same role as the 3 wands only better.
