3.7 stroke is actually my favorite the xion got me hooked on that I feel like it's the perfect stroke length for me anyways a good balance between lining power and smooth shading :)

Man I used to do everything with a 2.5 it’s just what people get used to using. I’m sure if I used a 3.7 cam all day everyday I would adapt to it fairly quickly.

Finally a tattoo machine company that actually cares more about the client and artist then their own pockets way to go ACUS Thank you for taking a stand in the right direction!
@vohiii2 жыл бұрын
Yea, the company with 1 000 EUR machine does not care about their pockets 🤣🤣🤣
@x_z0mb1_x2 жыл бұрын
@@vohiii I mean not selling us different strokes and making us buy separate machines just including them all for you to change yourself what I'm saying is its nice to see a premium machine having what you would expect for that price instead of price grabbing us to buy multiple just for a stroke change

I'm looking for a machine for fineline and microrealism work, what would you recommend, the Acus M1 or the Bishop Wand Packer?
@djs93152 жыл бұрын
Cant comment on the Acus.. but the packer is fantastic for lining.. personally I find it best with the smaller groupings.. but itll come with bigger, just slows you a lil.. But with a 0.6 3rl It is literally like drawing with a fine liner pen.. really really good.. very comfortable aswell.. really pleased I took a chance on the review advice on this channel and bought one.. very satisfied

Hey bro great video, I gotta wait two weeks until they can ship to the USA but my main concern is how can you change the cam in the middle of a tattoo without cross contamination, with other machines you can just put on clean gloves and you just pop one thing off and you can change the cam but with this you have to take out the body or internals out to change the cam
@ThatTattooShow2 жыл бұрын
hey.. Good question. If you wanted to change the cam during a tattoo then you would need to unwrap it all, apply new gloves, clean it, then change the cam and re wrap it. S o I wouldn't recommend swapping cams out during a tattoo. Having the separate cams allows you to try the different strokes, without having to buy a completely new machine so it will save you some bucks in that respect. Myself I wouldn't change a cam during a tattoo. I would figure out what setup works best for me and what I do then just keep it that way.

Hey how were you able to buy one shipping to USA?
@Tattoosbyjosh12 жыл бұрын
@@silive4067 I didn’t, they said they were gonna start shipping in two weeks to the USA when I made this comment, but honestly I doubt I’m gonna get a acus M1 I’ve only seen biased reviews, there doing like Fk iron giving free machines or sponsorships to artist for doing reviews so I’m good, I just bought the rook one and I love that machine, even outdoes my inkjecta nano elite and I didn’t think that was possible lol

It says about 5 hours. But it’s gonna depend on how you run it. I’m assuming the lower the hertz you run it the longer the battery will last.

I think the cam/plunge is the best high end Ive ever seen, defiantly worth the money just for that. Pity they couldn't have got a USB C in there and a more creative/imaginative screen. These wee tiny screens are awful on any pen or battery. I keep saying the vape game is ahead of all these tattoo companies - why cant they catch up or adopt whats possible already for screens and programming on chips.

Feel like who ever buys this will only ever use one stroke length,
@itsonlyforevertattoos85442 жыл бұрын
That is probably true, but that also means 1 person will love the 3.0 another will love the 3.7 and someone else will swear by the 4.5. So everyone's happy
@youaintmyauthority47322 жыл бұрын
@@itsonlyforevertattoos8544 fair point.. each to his own hey - I used to swear by shorter length strokes.. and I do agree that they are a wise move if your looking to achieve proper smooth gradient fades, but in truth I only really find that necessary on bigger fades.. the smaller ones I’m absolutely comfortable with a 4.2 stroke and allowing the give from my hand pressure.. in fact.. if I’m honest, I probably get the ink in quicker since getting used to the longer stroke settings.. and it appears to actually be healing better and look better when they return.. Strange how we conform ourselves to a golden rule.. that was just someone’s experience formed opinion.. but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true for us.. as we learn and grow

Well i dont think thats proper that you have to disassemble the whole machine to change the battery in a long session. I personaly would not buy this
