Have you noticed any decrease in consumption as the winter goes on? We started feeding some good alfalfa hay and our consumption has dropped to almost nothing. Where the were consuming 3-4oz before. Thanks for the great videos

I have not. We're still at about 3 oz per day. Our hay is mostly grass and some is from 2021 so lower quality. I was surprised that we leveled out less than the expected 5 oz.

Are u feeding any protein, cubes ,cotton seed meal,commodity type feed or alfalfa or any tubs to supplement your hay.also do keep minerals out year round.

There is a smattering of alfalfa in some of the grass hay. We do not feed any supplement other than ACV, sea salt and Craftsmin mineral. Steve Campbell says cattle must be mineralized to expect good results.

We mix salt directly into the ACV.

We mix with salt - 50 lbs. salt to 5 gallons of ACV. Replenish ACV as needed until salt is gone, then start over.

Hi sir, I farm in South Africa. Our soil is very low in phosphate, so we need to feed our cattle Phosphate in the summer, it is always good to give them salt aswell, the way to do, was to mix the 2. But we found that giving them seperately, reduces the intake of the Phosphate, because they don't eat it just because of the taste of the salt. They just take in as much as they need, either salt or Phosphate. Greetings from SA! Love your videos!

@@PharoCattleCompany No concern about effect on teeth? Obviously some minor details between people and cows (ha), but I was always told never to religiously drink undiluted ACV where it touches your teeth because it will eat off protection- to drink through a straw instead.

@@Baabaabelle You are correct, except for feeding in winter with salt full strength, which is what we are doing until warmer weather. Then we will feed 50/50 mixed with water. Thanks for pointing that out.
