You can get Peter Pig models from Brookhurst (I think) in the US. PP has a great ACW range.

I thought you delivered a very good and honest review. If I did go down the ACW route it would be with a different company for many of the reason you express. I'm looking forward to your Black Powder battle rep when you're ready. Keep up the good work.

You probably have but we never know. Have you looked at Perry Miniatures? They are in GB but you get quite a few minis for what you pay. I bought almost all troops from the Triple Alliance War and I'm very happy with the attention to the differences in between and among the 4 different country armies. They have Civil war minis, even cheaper than mine. They are metal but I had no complaints.

It makes zero sense why they mixed up the molds for the main units. They should have picked several regiments from the Union and several others from the Confederacy and sculpted them with the uniforms and equipment they actually used. It would be great to have some barefoot Confederates sprinkled in amongst the men with shoes. Instead, we get a mishmash of generic figures that are not uniform and are supposed to be interchangeable for both sides. It’s a shame that they didn’t put in the effort to get it right, and I can only imagine it will be as bad for the Napoleonics.

I can agree with that. I wasn't too please with them doing that on the infantry models as well-Mikey
