didn't realize the mtar had 18 min damage. definitely explains why i've never had problems with it at longer ranges.

I would way rather prefer the ACW-R, in my opinion it is the best looking gun and I always use it. My favorite gun by far.

I have over a thousand kills with the acwr, it was one of my favorites until I used the mtar21. The mtar just destroys in medium to short range and the recoil is something to worry about but after a while it is pretty easy to use. Tap fire is key to using this gun for longer ranges

I can't really put my finger on the reason why, though. It worked for me extremely well in BF3 (once I mastered all carbines I returned to it and had over 1200 kills), and its worked pretty well so far in BF4...except for that one time I forgot about the Heavy Barrel I put on the last time I played...

PLz do a video on your loadout, and why you pick those weapons. As I can not get my head around some of your choices. Other options for weapon Showdown i would love to see are: ACE 23 vs L85A2 AK 5C vs MTAR-21 MG4 vs M249 M40A5 vs L96A1

I think you're right, in BF4 MTAR wins unless it's TDM/Domination. What I was upset about was that my all time favorite ACW-R got changed so its role is different. Used to have less max damage but highest min damage in BF3. It went from best mid/long distance gun to a CQB beast. And in BF4 like you said too, engaging distance is longer.

Isn't the MTar-21 bugged doing a min DMG of 18 rather than the normal 15.4 like every other carbine especially when the ACW-R should be long range gun?

***** The dmg model makes it so that after 30m (which is not far) the Mtar-21 will kill you faster with less bullets.(except in the 39m-44m where it is the same.) So what makes it so that carbines can't have the same dmg as assault rilfes,( the hip fire spread) that is what balances them, the dmg models "forces" carbines to be in a more closer distance. Once you put a carbine in that dmg model you compare them to assault rifles and since carbines are better at cqb(hip fire) and have a good dmg at range why even use an assault rilfe. If you can't control your recoil, practice some more or lower your sensitivity. The Recoil in BF4 is nothing and very simple to learn, only thing you can't control is the random bullet deviation and "netcode"/Hit-reg).

I like ACW-R much more. It has much faster reload time which is ideal in CQ. The higher min damage of Mtar is not big deal, because these guns kicks too much for longer ranges.

WTF... The MTAR-21 in BF4 has 2 different images, when a picture of it from a side view shows up in the middle of the screen its a different look than when your actually using it...Look at the pistol grip/trigger area of both images and one has the pistol grip "open" and the gameplay one is "closed"

Great video. First let me say I'm not that good at Battlefield, don't get much of a chance to play. I'm pretty sure it's me, but I can't control the AWCR recoil. I really hope that being on console makes recoil management harder, but I still suck. I haven't tried the MTAR yet, but if it has more recoil, I probably won't like it.

Relying on your entire hand to control the weapon in PC versions is generally a hell of a lot easier than relying on your thumb by itself. I'm sure there's a better argument for it but that's how it feels when i compare PC to Console game-play. Using a mouse to control that kind of movement just feels more natural, but maybe more difficult to master.

Maybe 5 years ago this was legit but in 2019 the mtar is almost useless at medium range and the acwr isn't much better tbh. But as a close range weapon and generally bad ass carbine you can't really go wrong with the acwr. Angled grip and muzzle break for consoles and it shreds people and under 2 sec reload it keeps on going.. by far my favorite carbine

so stupid the Mtar has such a long reload. Just watched Jerry Miculek shooting the Tavor and he nailed a 2.5 second reload on his first attempt... its bolt locks open on the last round, just like an M4 or ACWR, but somehow has a super slow reload.
