AD Crit Makes Kayle OP Late Game!

if ur wondering how crit works on kayle waves it's pretty simple. You want the chance of criting with both, criting with only the wave or criting with only the auto attack. This is a little laborious to calculate so a trick would be to calculate the chance of both wave and auto missing the crit and subtract that from 1 which will give us the left over possibilities that we wanted. The chance of missing with 25% crit chance is 75% or 0.75. the chance for 1 attack to miss both wave and basic crits are calced by multiplying them so 0.75^2=0.5625. Subtract this from 1 and you get 0.4375% that either your wave or basic will crit or both will. But for damage calcs it averages as if it was one attack but multiple opportunities to crit increase consistency. 2 crit items to get you to 50% gives you a 75% chance for at least 1 thing to crit which is pretty consistent. 75% means that you have a 93.75% chance for something to crit. Hey Kayle 1v9. If the odds of crit'ing with the auto and the splash are truly separate, then to calculate the odds of crit'ing AT LEAST ONCE, all you need to do is 1-odds of missing. So 25% crit gives 1 - (3/4 * 3/4) = 7/16 (43.75% chance). 50% crit would give 75% chance. And a 75% crit would give 15/16 (93.75% chance). So odds of crit'ing at least once: 25% gives 43.75%; 50% gives 75%; 75% gives 93.75%; 100% is obviously 100%. Hope that helps.

@@deadspace4755 when calculating the odds of at least 1 of 2 separate events happening, you must calculate the odds of neither occurring and subtract that from 100%. So if you build 1 crit item, your auto has a 25% chance of crit and your splash damage has a separate 25% chance to crit. So let's consider the case when you have built that crit item, attack, but do NOT crit. The odds of missing the crit is 75% for the auto and 75% for the splash. So the odds of both of those attacks missing is the product of the chances, 75% * 75%. Thats 3/4 * 3/4. That's 9/16 odds to NOT crit. So the odds of AT LEAST 1 CRIT happening are the remainder of the times. So 1 - 9/16. That's 7/16. Hope that helps

Buddy, if you are not higher elo than him you probably shouldn't talk. He knows the champ more than most of us. WITH THAT BEING SAID AD kayle deals more damage mid to early late. Wheras ap outscales late game. Both of them are viable and both of them deal good damage it's just at different stages of the game. Literally most kayle players know this.

1 kayle ap does not do that much damage the key factors of kayle ap are the E which does a lot of damage on low target, the healing and movement speed on w which scales on ap and the sustenance with the ap items. Kayle on hit-ap with mixed damage is the kayle that you should go with since she has the most amount of damage while keeping some scaling on her abilities. In general ad kayle is an only damage build which will leave you really vulnerable while dealing a lot of damage.

Go to practice tool and check the damage. AD crit kayle does more damage than AP.
