I don’t know much, but I’m “uncle Monté” to my late friends’ son with autism. He’s 5 years old and still can’t speak so he has a severe case. I absolutely treat him as normal as possible even the way I talk to him! I wrestle with him and rough him up as I would any boy, and I’m still empathetic to his condition whereas I give in and take the walk you took with your son, but “no” means no with me and he knows it. He shows me so much love in his own way (it’s so fckin obvious and heartwarming) because of it, and even more respect than his old man. Be strong and empathetic at the same time would be the gem I pass to you, but you seem like a solid dude who I’m sure is doing that already. Keep doing the good work! The voice of the west!

I randomly came upon your video watching other autistic children videos. I, myself, am a mother to a four years old son with autism caused by a chromosome deletion called 2p16.3 NRXN1. You sound like an amazingly supportive father! Don't give up. School districts can be either a great alliance or a hindrance. ABA is a great resource. Some days are better than others. Just remember, we as parents are our children's biggest allies. Best of luck to you and your son. I will subscribe in hopes that there are more videos regarding updates with your son or just the topic of autism in general. God bless. ❤

It’s a whole different feels when you look at your kid with autism. You know that you have to be a better person because your false actions can hurt someone who won’t ever understand.

Ayo wassup AD I have a passion for music, and I’m a licensed RCFE Administrator actively working in this industry providing a high level of care everyone should have access to. I’m specifically opening facilities which are homes for our people. I was trained by the professionals who advised CDSS on title 22 for board and care. My older brother also has autism, but man every time we go bowling or take a train ride nothing else matters and we connect through levels of communication you couldn’t imagine bro. Keep doing exactly what you are doing and stay up. 💯
