One of the best bands around today !!! And Melissa is such a humble, lovely and nice human being !!!

As somebody who is not really a big fan of growling i like that i can hear Melissa here (and also in the other songs from Ad Infinitum) mostly just sing "normal" since i like that a lot and on other stuff from her the growling just made me think "yeah nice to hear, but only once".

I'm growing to like it more and more, but it's not for everyone and that's okay 😊

@@TauriReacts I think its ok if its done now and then for "shocking" moments or some special effect, but its lately just overdone a lot and then starts to gets just annoying (to me). For example in the new Epica song, its good in the duet part, i also like the spoken part, but then the long growling part is really what i like the least. But all in all in that song they at least not overpower Simones voice constantly with growls and shredding like they did before quite often i think (or at least my memory says that to me) Or talking bout "shocking" moments, yeah Jinjer Pisces is great for that for firsttime reactions, but what i really love the most in the whole song are the maybe 3-5 seconds where she just uses her power rock voice, i wished she used that way more but then she directly falls back to the growling.

I agree it's often a bit gimmicky and unnecessary. A good example of growls actually enhancing the song is her collaboration with Feuerschwanz the song 'Ding'.

Thank you so much for this reaction video, Tauri. Ad Infinitum is an amazing band. Their first album Chapter I - Monarchy is one of the best albums 2020. The great songs and the song See You In Hell is one of the best songs from this band. Very beautiful song from this talented band. You´re doing great, Tauri. Keep it up :-).

HI Tauri, I am one of your subs and mostly a Dimash, although I watch a lot of your videos. Many of the reactors that do Dimash also do an A Capella group called Pentatinox . Pentatinox has a huge following on KZbin and if you were to do a few reaction video of theirs, it will add thousands to you channel , which means you make more money if your subscriptions are up ? To give you an idea of their following, they do a version of "Hallelujah " that has 564 million views ? It also has 5.2 million likes ? Even by UK standards, that is a bunch. Also their talent is almost prodigy level as they somehow do all their songs only using their voice and not instruments . Don't let the term " A Capella" put you off. What they do not using instrument is at a Prodigy lever. It is really stunning to be honest. I will leave a link to Hallelujah. See what you think. We love you Tauri. Thank you for putting up with us. With love from Florida @hpoQ

Glad you checked this out and that you liked it so much. Great song! Now you need to check their song I am the Storm. It is more similar to marching on Versailles. It has cleans and some growls. Enjoy!

This came out as the third music video after "Marching on Versailles". The first was "I am the Storm", but it was only a music project back then. It was her intention to experiment more with clean vocals and I think it worked out beautifully as harsh vocals are still there, but more as flavouring. Their live performance of this song was really very similar to the studio version, which is great. You could even see two band members by the table - the bassist and the drummer. Melissa is a solid vocalist to say the least and really consistent in her delivery. And there are other projects in which she was involved. I would recommend that new song by Marcela Bovio for a reaction or something by Vintersea, for instance.

Funny, this was the first song I saw by them and I didn't know Melissa Bonny does growls, but I was wanting growls in this anyway. I never liked growls until I discovered Jinjer, now songs like this I miss them. :) Still a beautiful song though.
