The boy can play. Fantastic tone and technique. That solo, especially the lead in, is superb. A truly good guitarist knows when to shred and when to let a great melody speak for itself and Adrian definitely understands this.

I haven't enjoyed listening to a guitarist this much since my teenage years consuming all of the late, great Edward Van Halen's music. Chapter I and Revisited (Loved the Spanish stylings on that one so much) were flawless. I hope to be able to enjoy your work with Ad Infinitum for many years to come. You all are a fantastic band with so much talent and the ability to compose "perfect" songs.

It's so refreshing to see eight strings being used for music that's not only djent, chugging or pure guitar masturbation. This is good, melodic beautiful music and still we can see the player is a master at his instrument at the appropriate moment.

@adrian thessenvitz :stunning and thankyou for this - I agree with others that this is so fluid a performance. Having been a devout 6 string-er all my life, and not liking the 7, I am interested in looking at a jump to an 8-string... is that a wise progression?
@adrianthessenvitz21303 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Well, I jumped from a six string to an eight string too. It's possible but I needed a few months to find a "concept" how I approach this instrument. It's not the same playing style you have on a six string. But once you find out, it's a lot of fun and an inspiration machine for writing metal riffs :)
@MusiCaninesTheMusicalDogs3 жыл бұрын
I'm just a stupid hobbyist who can barely play the guitar, but I went from six, to seven and then to eight and I barely touch the seven strings since I got the eight. Perhaps you'll be a bit more confused at first, but that's not a real reason to step into the seven strings realm first. If you want eight, go for eight.
