I recently found Ad Infinitum. Melissa is a beast You said it perfectly. Like butter I would say listen to a few albums once before you do a reaction. Then react to a live video or music video. They give different vibes than just a song or lyric video

Hi Tauri ! Nice reaction as always. I feel for you when you say you have to refrain from listening to stuff to keep a fresh and true « first listen » when you react. Just a word about Melissa’s vocals : she said (if think on Patreon) that when recording chapter II she felt completely free to explore new things with her voice. Whereas, in the first album, she was very « guided » by the producer, telling her « sing like that, go hard on this part, sing smooth on there » etc. She was proud to say that Legacy was 100% their own creation and interpretation, regarding to vocals and music as well. She concluded she would continue to explore more what she can do with her voice which I personally fully agree with ! (Sorry if my English is sometimes incorrect, I’m a frenchie 😉)

A premiere to this awesome song from such a great band like this with an incredible talented female vocalist is awesome, I still need to dive deeper into their music, I really need. Melissa Bonny joined a hangout from Markie Moravkova (Markie is also in Fabi's Patreon community) the singer of Alia Tempora which is a band similar to Amaranthe, I will suggest a song in the request video. Love everything about this - from Melissa through to the Strandberg headless guitar. Can't wait for the album. I have both versions of "Chapter One: Monarchy". "Live Before You Die" is my favourite from that album.

I am so late to this party. I was already asleep when this was posted, oh well. :-D It is not every day that you can see a headless guitar. It is much more common to spot headless bass guitars. And I have no experience with either of them, to be honest. They really upped their game with this single - Melissa´s vocals and that solo. Although, I can understand why they might have been more cautious with the first album. Not many producers are prone to take unnecessary risks. And you should definitely listen to the whole first album (and its acoustic counterpart) as I don´t think there is much of a point to wait any longer, to be fair. The only exception might be "I Am The Storm" which was the first single and set this whole thing in motion, but it is up to you, of course. ;-)

It is a new supergroup with the drummer of Amaranth (Morten Løwe Sørensen), the guitarist (Hans Platz) and harpist (Jenny Diehl) of Feurerschwanz and...Melissa Bonny.

Vocals are great, and they get all the credit, as they should (damn Melissa...set the bar high?) I would love to find out how they recorded everything from 500 Hz and down on this album... it sound HUGE on my crappy computer speakers!! So good, well produced, and EVERYONE has a Plague Doctor mask.... well, half a mask. .... dammit, I gotta go 'full-beak' all day at work, but I'm coming up on 7 months post-jab#2 and I can't take any risks. At least I have a black wool top hat to go with it. "...Wrap up, my raddle, again..." Raddle... its a word.... describes my face right about now....

This is only the third song of theirs you've heard!? You should really listen to their first album that they released last year. It's called Chapter I: Monarchy and it's easily one of the best overall albums I've ever heard and really surprised me last year. "Infected Monarchy", "Maleficent", and "I am the Storm" from that album are standouts for me. I'm pretty sure there is a video for "I am the Storm" and a lyric video for another song from the album called "Live Before You Die".
