i cried. i have very very distant Tlingit and Maori ancestors . not in the recent history. seeing this made me cry. i love Ocenean/Polynesian dance /ora tahiti and same for Tlingit .

I love this video. I am a Whitehorse Yukon born girl that is also half maori and just seeing this in my hometown was amazing and I wish I could have been there. I don't know much about my maori culture, I don't know much about my culture but eager to learn. This performance is absolutely beautiful great job

My mom was adopted out of the Tlingit tribe when she was four. I’m Tlingit and only with the internet do I get to see my people who will reject me although I’m dark skinned but consider it my mom’s fault she was adopted out! Not nice! You can’t steal my genetics I am Tlingit ! I’m Tlingit because my grandfather was! He is my family!
