A true sincere man. Somehow I always sensed that in his lyrics before he found Jesus Christ.I know his questions pushed me to the same answers.God bless him.Truly intelligent man,I want to read his book ,"seeds of change"

What a guy! I met him two years ago...and I waited, believe it or not, 25 to 30 years for that moment and when I did, I about freaked!...at a Sonshine Festival in Minnesota. Then he said to me, in just a couple sentences, what he said in this video....made me speechless...made me think. The very person I idolized all those years put the glory on God...thanks for this video...brings tears to my eyes every time.

God damn! This is a great, transparent testimony from an individual seeking the sovereign will of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Can a Christian say "God damn?" God damn right!

Most of the lerics in his Kansas songs was his hart looking for God. Gos used Kerry to get people to think. Finley he had to separate himself. Kerry, I'm living for the KING

kerry has said that while with kansas their were times he felt as if people were looking to him for answers. I feel at times he gets a very strange feeling of this power he has over people because of who he is. Here he is really tying to keep people in check. and I feel this was the reason for him saying all this in this video.

@thecannyshark Good point! I'm no longer a believer, but I once was. AD was a band I loved then and still do, even if I don't share the same beliefs.

I just wonder what sparked all that ... I wonder if somebody flashed him the "devil horn" sign :) Of course, Kerry was "rocking for Jesus" when he was in Kansas. However, he threw all of that fame and fortune away because he wanted to do something different. Unfortunately, I don't think he ever found what he was looking for when he was part of the "Christian Rock genre". Personally, I think he should have stayed in Kansas since his music and message would have reached more people..

My understanding was that he couldn't take the touring lifestyle anymore, and felt that for him personally, it was not an enviroment helpful for him growing in Chirst. Otherwise, he would have stayed.

@nathernile i can't believe you would say something like that. sure kansas plays the best music ever, but what really matters is what they believe in and where they are going after life. i'm sure this video was put on here to inspire people to become stronger in their walk with Christ. He's just trying to show that he is not just a rock star, that doesn't matter to him. he is proclaiming his faith in God. to him rock n roll doesn't come close to the power of Jesus. So back off.

Apparantely, the bass player Dave Hope never got the memo that this was a serious affair. Dave had already told the crowd to "party for Jesus"! (mixed signals?)

Kerry's best stuff was in Kansas before he became a born again Christian. Better when he was "searching" for the answer, as opposed to when he "found" the answer.

No offense, but if you don't like what a person has to say, saying stfu doesn't show anything but discourteous rudeness. It's as simple as a click to leave the video, dude. I put this on here because I believe the same lunatic message he's preaching. If you don't, it's your loss. It's also a free country, to worship the way you want or choose not to, but the beauty of this country lies in the freedoms we have here. If you want to be ignorant, go elsewhere with your comments. Thank you.

Hey appregios- Sorry you feel that way, but even so, God loves you and doesn't want you to follow religion, but for to believe Him and have a relationship with him. Sin and evil are real, and some people, wrongly do it in the name of God- but Jesus is not like that, nor does he advocate it. There's a better way, and I hope you find it.
