Thank you for the subtitles! Wonderful interview. Yes to everything they said about her. She's super intelligent, ethical and talented. I absolutely love her tomboyish sensuality, her beautiful masculine femininity. Thanks again for doing this.

Oof when he asked why she stopped doing cinema after Les Diables and double oof when Polanski was brought up. So insightful and honest as usual. Thank you for the translation!

She's a smart cookie. I don't know why the (very capable) interviewer felt the need to indulge in the minor provocation of bringing up Les Diables and Polanski but she was obviously having none of it and shut it down in the no-nonsense manner you'd expect. I think the greatest compliment I can pay her is that I'm really interested to see where her career will go next. I noted in the most recent interview I saw that her English seemed to have improved a great deal.

Thank you also for the subtitles. Adèle is wonderful to listen to in English, and it is a great pleasure to see what she says when speaking French. She is amazingly proficient at expressing herself, and of course, she is beautiful to watch. Thank you again!

Many great movies are based on a book. This movie deserves a book written after it.

4:47 And 2020’s Cannes award the best director to Polanski instead of Céline proves that French’ patriarchal inveteracy and unfair judgement to Portrait of a lady on fire. It’s snubbed in France for its political standpoint and feminism essence.

I wonder what the final deciding factor was in making the decision to part from cinema as it is; retrospectively to the time of this interview, she seemed somewhat agreeable to tolerating certain behind-the-scenes corruptions within the industry..
