Waltons 12 x 8 Pressure Treated Tongue and Groove Pent Shed Review
*I was given a discount on the purchase of this shed, however, all opinions are honest and of my own.
Update after the shed has just turned 2 years old. The shed roof is leaking. No rips, tears or gaps in the felt. I have contacted Waltons who said the felt should be changed every 2-3 years and with the bad weather we've had recently then it would be sooner!!!! I have never known even a cheap shed roof to leak through the felt within 2 years. They also said I have painted the shed in non-waterproof paint.......was I meant to paint the roof?!?!?! And they said I should have run sealant along the edges. They have now ignored my contact.
I never realised I would be so happy about a garden shed! But it means we're one step closer to our house extension! Demolishing the garage means we lose all that storage space that we need, so a shed had to be built in the garden. We've worked so hard on our garden over the past couple of years that it took a while for me to decide what shed I wanted. I even created a blog post with tips on buying a shed!

Hi. Great video. Very useful. I have the same shed to build and need some advice! Did you build the shed then slide it back? I notice in the video it sits away from the back fence during the build. However after the build it sits close to the back fence. I ask because I have the same shed and want to have it nearly flush to the back fence in my garden. However I expect I will need 60cm minimum between the back fence and the shed to construct (and paint it). Thanks!

Hi, thanks. We did slide it back once it was built. Gradually do it, and had two people doing it!

@@RenovationBayBee Thanks for the advice :). Out of interest did you treat the wood before you painted it? I am umming and ahhing about weather I should apply wood preserver before I paint the shed or weather the pressure treating was enough? Thanks!

I'm going to just build my own, these sheds use such flimsy wood, I can make mine out of 4x2 wood which is like 3 times the thickness and it will probably end up the same price I hope.
