Hi Sir, Thanks a lot for your detailed explanation. I have a doubt, in the calculation in the initial stage we made we concluded that 12 fitters and helpers are required/day. so in order to apply that we need to specify 12 in budgeted units/ time right? if we specify in 12 in budgeted units it take 2/ day ie., 12/6. If I understand correctly we need to specify 72 in Budgeted units right? thanks in advance for your feedback.

Yes. Correct

This is good tutorial. But for practicality reasons we do not usually go down this level of detail in real world projects. Imagine having to load this much resource on 5,000 or 10,000 activities.
@hasnan75 жыл бұрын
Actually we do it, atleast here where I live. But it delivers wonderfully if you take the pain to plan in detail the whole project. everything is easy later

Thank you so much Sir. But I have a question. For example previously you said 16mm = 0.26 ton. So why your budgeted unit for 16mm = 2 ton in primavera?

Hi , thanks I've got a question, how can we assign a virtual resource to all activity as a weight factor to see the project's s-curve, I mean wee preserve the current resources and cost, just add this virtual resource and see the result without affecting these two types of resources on eachother. Please don't hesitate if you need any further information, kind regards.

Good material. Looking at the total steel at the beginning, it was 14.45 MT but the budgeted unit in the resource allocation total is 2+2+3+6 = 13. Is there a reason for not having a total of 14.45 MT of steel that we started with?
@sonamtamang50832 жыл бұрын
Good Qs. Yes, ur understanding is correct, as it has to be 14.45MT by adding all the wt. Of dia bar, but this just for example.

sir i have a doubt as u assigned values for resources. i think for labors & non labors we should put values in budgeted units/time & for materials we use budgeted units
@Layput5 жыл бұрын
You could also do what you are suggesting. But his method is also correct. However, his is much more detailed

Excellent How to input reusable resources such as form work, scaffold etc. Please reply
@kandrapusainadhreddy49846 жыл бұрын
Suppose you have only two set of slab formworks put max units per time 2 while creating resource, while allocating that resource to that slab you will put resource required 1 .like that you have to allocate for all slabs, if dates are clashing the date of activities will change,if you set your schedule to resource driven.thats all. Hopes that helps

That was a great explanation sir. But I've got a doubt. The price / unit I've set is 200 And the units / time I've set 1 / day But the budgeted cost its showing as 250. I'm not getting where I've gone wrong. Please help me sir. What basic mistake I might have done.
