For anyone worried about dazais death, there's a lot backing up that he isn't actually dead! There's many theories that make way more sense then him being dead all of the sudden. Like him talking after he got shot, the fact that the bullet didn't dent the wall like the other times, and way more. I don't think asagiri would kill him of like that

Remember when Dazai said he and Sigma weren't going to escape? I think this is what he really meant. Dazai probably expected all of this especially since he was still unserious even when he was held at gunpoint. His plan was probably to fake his death and at the same time get the truth out of Fyodor when he was most confident of his victory. It wouldn't be too hard since he can manipulate his heart rate and seems to be aware that Chuuya still has some sort of control left. Besides, by playing dead, it would be easier to escape and give Ango their newfound knowledge without Fyodor's interference. Not to mention, this isnt the first time he's fake his death If anyone wants me to explain how he'd even survive, you can ask

Well for example after he was short in the head he was still able to speak. A blow to the head/brain should be an instant kill. So Dazai is still alive and everything he says to Chuuya before is most likely him communicating to the real Chuuya who does have slight control even though he is a vampire. And In the panel after the head shot we see a bullet behind Chuuya’s back that wasn’t there before. There was also no visible impact on his head wound while the other three shots did. Also! You should have been able to see little bits of his brain fly out but all we are able to see is blood :)

3 bullets hit places where there are no vital organs, the bullet that hit his head DID NOT LEAVE ANY VISIBLE IMPACT on the wall, although if you can see a TREMENDOUS bullet in the head obviously, traces of blood CAN BE SEEN ON THE WALL They give us to understand that the shots were in: right shoulder (1st), left shoulder (2nd) and side of the abdomen (3rd). When Dazai says "Finally... I've been waiting for this moment..." which are his last words, he COULD be referring to why Chuuya is regaining consciousness, either because of: 1-Aya managed to pull out Bram's sword and it's the exact moment in which Chuuya regains consciousness, or 2-That his ability to nullify also nullifies the vampire and with the touch of the gun on his head a connection was made between him and Chuuya to return him to normal. Or that if he is going to die, we don't know, but get the idea for once JUST IN CASE so you don't suffer so much. Sigma WE HOPE that he has not died, there are no signs of blood either, as happened for example with the soldier who touched Fyodor that time, VERY PROBABLY the same thing happened to him that happened to Atsushi when HE RECEIVED TOO MUCH INFORMATION ON A HIT, so NO, let's have faith in that he is not really stiff and that he only had an overload that made him pamper for a little while. The knife is still there, I want to believe that it can stab Fyodor back in some carelessness or that Nikolai ARRIVES IN A GOOD TIME and takes care of it. Besides, I was checking, and on the side of the page where Fyodor tells Sigma that he can touch him and hold his hand to find out about his ability, it says "DOSTOY'S INFO" Who else besides NIKOLAI calls Fyodor "Dostoy"? I have faith with him, my only words about it. This is the FIRST TIME that we canonically see that Chuuya uses A GUN, here is my humble theory so that you do not suffer so much skk shippers: It is a false bullet, which leaves a mark, leaves blood, leaves an impact; but it doesn't do any damage. The impact on his forehead is visible, but there is nothing on the wall and there is no blood behind his head or on the back of his neck that has stained the white clothes, so I WANT TO BELIEVE that they used that to trick Fyodor into making him believe that Dazai died. They needed to fake a shot, and if Chuuya used his gravity to shoot it would be harder to make Fyodor believe it was actually a bullet, so the most believable option would be to use a gun, EVEN THOUGH CHUUYA HAS NEVER USED ONE. Not even when he was the King of Sheep did we see him use a gun, like why OUT OF NOTHING would he use one when he has perfect control of gravity even as a vampire? Can you locate the scene in Zootopia where they trick the mayor with a fake bullet that was actually a fk blackberry? Well, just like that HAS to happen or I'll throw myself off a bridge. STAY. IN. CALM. Asagari is like dogs that smell fear, don't believe him, don't suffer yet. If there is no grave, there is no death. There are hopes with many more characters of whom we have no idea where they are, but it cannot be the end of Dazai or Sigma, so many things happen at the same time that everything ends up being related and one causes the other and that other reacts and blah blah blah. So cry a little bit, but keep hoping. Btw, the reaction was very good, I loved it so much. I literally cried with the new chapter of the manga but I will cling to all possible theories that tell how Dazai and Sigma live.

I don't normally do this, but I can't help but make an aftermath-type story in my head. When they all go back to the agency, Dazai continues acting all weird, but it's half-hearted, almost painfully so. Everyone but those aware is hella confused, but they all agreed to process everything before deciding who to tell. Meanwhile, Dazai goes out after work and decides to hang out with Chuuya, just once more before shit hits the fan. They have fun together in their strange way, but something is off. In the end, Chuuya brings up Dazai having not tried to kill himself the entire day, to which Dazai responds "Only Chuuya's allowed to kill me!" he says it with an air that speaks more of a finality than any other time he's joked, as if he really means it. Chuuya goes home that day strangely somber despite the fun he had. He couldn't sleep that night. Also, who else thinks Ranpo's plead was so adorably sad?
