Jett, honey, u need to take a deep breath 😂 1/ The herbs have different effects: green to boost your health, mixed with red will give maximum health, the yellow one upgrade your heath bar. 2/ The flash grenades will finish any parasite. 3/ Shoting enemies on knees/legs will stun them(to save ammo)

The Sadler fight in this DLC is horrendous. Cramped little arena, tanky enemy, and half of his attacks hit you through rocks and pillars. I died 5 times and did the same as you. Fuck wasting my time on that nonsense.

JETT PLEASE READ BIG BRO!!!! Its not just flat horror , its survival horror so yes its a resource management game BUT you can't get resources if you dont loot bro , take your time and look around (channel your inner berleezy , "i wouldnt be me if i didnt loot") even if its a detour or more enemies 9/10 times itll be worth it. Your herbs big bro you GOTTA MIX Green+red = FULL heal , green+red+yellow = full heal PLUS a permanent extension to your overall health bar. Enemies are naturally intended to be sponges in this franchise but overall you have the tools/skills to handle with ease (its only more ludicrous on hardcore/professional difficulty) so take your time to stun/parry enemies for melee opportunities and just over all breathing room , if theres anything mechanic wise you dont remember read the tutorial in the pause menu at any point in gameplay. other tips: flash anything tenticle ONCE its OUT after the (pause) head bust , its a instant kill (bosses excluded tho it does still effect them). for parry use L1 and HOLD after your initial timed press so that youll be default blocking incase theres a succesive attack comming right after (ei arrows which you can 100% block / parry ). Ada had melee range which you obv found out in this vid so yea , once you see X with her , press it , she will hit it. Love the content big bro , bin waiting on this one , hope to see you dig in to the rest of the franchise one day. Jett, quick tip: if you want to just skip fights you can stun enemies by headshoting them to avoid hits, you have to upgrade your fire power to stun them faster

fyi Jett, if the enemy has a helmet on, aim for their legs. It's muuch more effective than chest shots. Also, you need to use more stun grenades. They're essential. They kill every exoposed plaga and can save you so much.

The DLC definitely is harder than the base game, I died way too many times playing it. Also, Ada could vomit out the parasite first because it had been knocked out, but she also defeated the Black Robe, which was what had infected her. So it's not the same as Ashley and Leon. Please take time off the game, get some rest, maybe do some mercenaries to get used to the controls again. Also, you can sell the items you have (trinkets and previously used items) to the merchant, so you can have a bigger case.
