Hi Patricia, Thanks for watching the video, I’m glade you enjoyed it 😊. No, I didn’t notice any but I was mainly snorkelling on the beach closer to the water bungalow. I didn’t notice any in any of the places I went to in the Maldives and I would be first to run a mile from them haha

Hi, thanks for your comment. Yes, this was a very nice resort and beach was beautiful. The food was great very tasty. The buffet was massive and had many different options

@@searchingparadise Wasn't the water around the island deep?Are there rays, sharks and turtles swimming around the island?

@@gracjan6865 off the shore the water wasn’t very deep. But from the pair the water was very deep and there were turtle swimming around. I didn’t notice any nursing sharks at this resort but at another one near by there was nursing sharks swimming up to the shore

Hi, thanks for watching. Yes would be fine. There is a lovely white sand beach at the top of the island which is perfect for swimming and can also arrange activities with the hotel such as snorkeling tours and trips to other local islands

We are currently having a day of Maafushi on this resort because of this video! Lovely place! But I know you Come to the Maldives for the beautiful surroundings but I think I’d get bored here! Maafushi offers so much for so much less!

Yea, I totally agree with you, that’s the reason we went to Maafushi over a resort island and we also love to see the local culture/way of life. You can still visit some of the resort island for the day so still get the opportunity to see what they’re like :)
