Yes neline, when introducing or even reintroducing any animal to a new thing, it is always a good thing to go slow and work at the animals speed. Just because they did this before, does not mean you go a prolonged period of time and pick up where you left off. Great job

wanted to say I follow both you and your brother and working with horses if you have any time I follow Homestead Horsemanship he does a good job and you may gain much knowledge watching his channel, much insight in training and think you may find it interesting and helpful and one thing I appreciate is how he treats his horses.

Look at all those nice winter coats! Amazing how Mother Nature know what our animals need and when they need it.

Glad to see you took it slow. Some KZbinrs go so fast and don’t get them used to things then they get their faces kicked. Slow way is the fast way.

You just do your training the way you’re both comfortable with. My horse hated a blanket I had she didn’t like it any other blanket was no problem. I looked at the blanket up down inside out nothing was sticking out that would hurt her but I just never pushed her to like it. I would at first set it over her pen she would toss it on the floor. But I ended up giving that beautiful blanked to another rider.

Slow and consistent is a good thing. Work at your own pace. Just remember to breathe and be confident in your movements so the horse doesn’t feed off your apprehension It’s really hard to tell with the winter woollies but I think you have your rope halter tied the wrong way I could be wrong and just can’t see but it looks like you have a knot above the tie loop. If it is, look up the better way to tie the rope halter so it lies flat against the horse (comfort) but also if something was to happen and she was tied, then you’ll never get it untied tying it above. When it’s looped and tied properly it will always come undo no matter how tight the knot gets. Very simple to learn the right way, just instead of going down thru your knot, go from the bottom up But I may just be seeing things incorrectly as well. I apologize for this comment if it’s tied properly

The only thing I see is that you need to breathe when you are handling her when you relax they relax they feed off your energy and it's good to go slow and not rush it next time touch her all over with the blanket her both sides her legs and chest and her rear end you'll get there keep up the good work
