I love milk a whole lot! Every time I drink a glass I think of the hard work and long hours dairy farmers put in for us to drink a cold glass of milk. There must be a special place in heaven for all of you!

Merry Christmas. Gotta love when the little gaffers can manage to spray ya Thankfully lambs don’t get as aggressive so it only ends up on coveralls lol. Although, so far this lambing group I’ve only gotten placenta and crap on them, no milk lol Always love the cute calves…. The lambs are just as cute too, but I like the angle with the calves with their heads thru the gates versus the lambs inside the lambing pens (same thing as your goat pens, hard to get a good view and angle on camera. I still think the videos I’ve been able to put out are cute too though haha

5:31 Getting splashed with milk is one of the better things to get splashed with on a dairy farm, the best being nothing, second best being clean water.

Never milked with auto-takeoffs. Sure takes the pressure off. Many people don’t know that leaving the units on the cows too long risks mastitis, trains the udder to be slow milking, and can cause pain to the cow.

Do the cows that leak milk so freely after stripping the teat, tend to get mastitis easier or less likely because of this happening?

Well we have 3 fairl cats and the landlord asked my boyfriend to spray paint them orange Thursday because he was going to start trapping the ones that we don't need and take them to a farm because they are over tracking the bird's and the baby bunnies to and running our 3 out of the food pan

Question: when you check the tits and you're making sure there's not like cottage cheese or anything like that and the milk starts just liquid draining afterwards is there anything that can be done to stop that? Or is it something that you don't want to stop? Just curious
