LOL it was exactly like that. I used to go round all those places in the 90's. sadly theyve all gone. Its kinda sad. going round the record shops was always a good day out.

yep a short lived phenomen underground record shops, imagine a shop that sells nothing but drum & bass or a shop dedicated to uk garage, thats how good the industry was back in the day that those places could exist, nothing but a memory now, this video sums it up though good times.

" nah mate u cant have it, doesnt come out for another 10 years" lol. As much as i miss the independent record shop in hindsight it's amazing that they survived as long as they did.

Part 2 was the best, with Adam taking some vinyl albums to part-exchange at the Music & Video Exchange, and Joe as the employee sliding them onto the floor one by one as he appraised them! "Yeah, that'll be 10 cash, 20 exchange" "What?! There's some decent stuff here, they've got to be worth more than just 20 quid!" "10*P* cash, 20*P* exchange mate!"

Agreed, impossible to find on line and would love to share it with others, being a die-hard MVE visitor for decades!

If 187 Technonuts wasn't the sound of your youth, did you really even nineties?
