Nice AI isn’t a must for him. There’s a lot of quick split second reactions you can learn to do if the AI isn’t cooperating (knowing when to use the relic, when to dash in, light intercepting instead of mediums)

@@-friendofearth-8160 i am an experinced adam player, have been using him against literally anyone in high tier battlegrounds so I can answer your question, for that scenario which is very common, you have to make him throw special, you do this by doing 4 hit combo ending with light, then dash back and wait for the opponent to throw special, if opponent doesn't throw special, he is either blocking or trying to intercept you, if he is blocking, first confirm whether he is blocking by waiting a bit, then dash in and attack, and then try to bait special again, if the opponent is trying to intercept you, you just activate pod or throw your own sp1 or sp2

He is my favorite champion in the entire game. He isn't as AI dependent as people think. Between stasis pod activation, relic and throwing any special you have and of course the taunt causing the opponent to throw their specials quickly, there's very little room for error. Just needs a lot of practice.
