It's time to move on, after listening to this whole album, I realized Adam does amazingly well at being a musician, and whatever choices he will make, I will support him, not as a fan of Three Days Grace, but as a fan of the genius behind this band, Adam Gontier.

To everybody saying go back to 3DG, your better there Adam, but apparently you never had to TRULY deal with addiction and dealing with those you let down in the process of using this addiction to kill pain. This is a must for Adam, one step closer to a full recovery. Adam I fully support you, I'm no huge fan but I still think you make damn good music and do whatever it takes to keep yourself straight.
@joshs716010 жыл бұрын
I love 3DG and Adam to death, but this is honestly hard to listen to. I hope these (not the covers) are not finished songs. He doesn't have to go back to 3DG, but he needs to really up the intensity. I will be really disappointed if this is the new direction of his music.
@jonathancooper97269 жыл бұрын
Nah, he preformed TDG's songs with his new band, fucking arse hole fuck his addiction hope he end up homeless. I had respect for him leaving until i found out he still sings tdg's songs.

Josh S In my own opinion, this is really him, this is his true self and it's fucking amazing, I guess I just love this so much because I can relate to him. I personally think this music is perfect just the way it is. Not trying to start a fight just throwing my two cents out there.
@AnnaLVajda4 жыл бұрын
I don't know much about addiction but I do know about so called friends treating me like garbage when they should be supportive and about being taken advantage of used and abused so if drugs were just their excuse for doing that to him to hell with them. They probably would have done it anyway if he took pills or not. Regardless I think he had his reasons for leaving could have been personal issues other than just drug use.

Ok, ok but for me better version of Adam was in Three Days Grace, with these fucking amazing choruses and energetic guitar. :(

This is really great! Adam is such a talented musician. He's already formed his own band, and his new (real) album should be out some time this year!
@Joshua-xw4ev10 жыл бұрын
People who are calling for Adam to re join the band, understand he left because he couldn't stand it anymore, the bands most recent full length "Transit of Venus" was disappointing and painful for Adam to release, he didn't feel the emotional connection with most of the songs claiming they were just wrote for the radio, losing this connection made him leave. Being a fan for as long as I have, I am still seeing them in 5 days it wont be the same and it never will, but like a true fan ill be there supporting the band I grew up with and love please, for the sake of Adam leave him to do his own stuff, its still great.

Adam man, when I just about to start high school, my family decided to move to FL from LA. After that huge switch I started to listening to more rock and so happens 3DG just let out their first album with I Hate Everything About You. Instantly fell in love with you guys and followed 3DG. Listening to your solo music is by far your most amazing work. I love the new wave man. Gives me nostalgia.

I get that his sound is different now than what a lot of you are used to, but could you give it a chance? If you don't like it after that then please just leave. There's no need to call it "shit". We all have different taste in music and just because you don't like it anymore doesn't mean you have to bash it. Honestly though, I like his sound from Three Days Grace AND this. If anything, I really enjoy the different sound. It shows just what types of things Adam is capable of artistically and it sounds soothing. I've put my heart into Three Days Grace when he was in it, and I'm not changing that now. Whatever he does with his music will never be wrong in my opinion. Just please don't bash it. It's not going to change what he does with his music but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a heart. Be respectful about it. Say that it just doesn't fit your taste anymore. You don't have to make it sound like you not liking it is the end all be all of everything; that just because you don't like it doesn't mean others can't. I can understand why people may not like his music anymore, the sound DID change and that can be hard for people to take, but throwing fits about it shows how much you actually care about him (and that not very much if you can't respect his choices).
@misamaru110 жыл бұрын
I agree it's better to support Adam then go and bash his music cuz he left the band honestly I feel this it a nice change from all the stuff they did as a band and I think that Adam Is good with and with out TDG.

Today I told my mom I want an electric guitar. She asked why because I never even used my acoustic and it'd just collect dust. I told her I want to learn to play better but the acoustic is big and clumsy feeling and that I do play when no one is home. She was shocked and asked what else I do she doesn't know. I told her I like to sing, so she asked me to sing for her like right then. I got awkward and dodged it cuz I'm not very good lol. But I hope I get the guitar. My friend helped me choose one ideal to my needs. Funny part is. When I asked him about it. He asked what kind of music I wanted to use it for. I wasn't sure, so he knowing me so well, was like "You'll probably want to do three days grace type music, so I'll look for something ideal for that." I was like shit he knows me well. That's exactly the style of what I want to play

Here's the thing, if you like Three Days Grace truely then you wouldn't hate Adam because he made Three Days Grace amazing with his unique tone and rasp. Honestly, I think you should consider when you're going to say before you say it. If you don't like his solo songs then don't listen to them. Don't come on here just to hate on him. What's the point? You're just putting a target on yourself.
@cristicristi650010 жыл бұрын
BamzItzMikki I don't hate him, but it's sad. because 3DG won't find another singer like him, and Adam's songs will not be awesome like his songs in 3DG because he's alone, without drums, electric guitars etc.

Here's the thing. Music isn't about the instruments in the background. It's about the singer's voice, the message of the song, and how the singer conveys that message.
