This goes way beyond a song, the delivery is like an oscar winning film, never been so taken in by a song and performance, spellbinding from start to finish!!!

It's like 'Hallelujah'. It's as good as 'Grace'. It's that good. Oh my GOD.

My daughter and I attended this concert primarily to see Laura Marling. It was an unexpected bonus to see one of our favourite singers Cara Dillon accompanied by husband Sam Lakeman perform a couple of songs too. Rachel Sermanni was the surprise package for me as I was unaware of her and Adam Holmes at the time. They also performed a rendition of her song Banks are Broken which I enjoyed so much that I subsequently bought the album it appears on, which is Tied to the Moon. An enjoyable night out.

Aah the surprises of a live concert!! I am looking forward to Adam on Thursday and who knows where that will go musically. I came to learn of the music of Hannah Fisher and Sorren MacLean because they supported Dougie MacLean at a concert in Findhorn...

Love Adam Holmes and love this song. I have seen him a couple of times at The Witham at Barnard Castle. These voices blend perfectly. I haven't heard of this lady but she has a beautiful voice

I said hello to Rachel at a local festival a few years ago. She was very good, and seemed astonished that anyone would want to buy one of her CDs. Take more CDs to festivals with you, Rachel!

I was four First I heard a man could leave and not return without a warning Saw the signs Read the lines between the pages of the paper in the morning Oh my god, oh my god I'm going to die when I get old and I'm not ready Oh my god, oh my god I'm going to die when I get old and I'm not ready Twenty one Given armor and a gun, sent away to man the trenches Bullets flying Heard a cry as I awoke and started coming to my senses Oh my god, oh my god I'm going to die when I get old and I'm not ready Oh my god, oh my god I'm going to die when I get old and I'm not ready I was four First heard a man could leave and not return without a warning Mamma said One day bed will be a long and restful sleep that brings no warning Oh my god, oh my god I'm going to die when I get old and I'm not ready Oh my god, oh my god I'm going to die when I get old and I'm not ready I'm going to die when I get old and I'm not ready

Someone have the chords or even the lyrics for this song?
@joehyde91766 жыл бұрын
yes, I do.
@joehyde91766 жыл бұрын
Yep, something like C, Am, F, C, G....(and the last C and G are turned around on the chorus) obviously he's using a capo in this video.
@bluesteel56885 жыл бұрын
You can see the chords from watching this video and tbh they are very straightforward.....just google the lyrics
@bluesteel56885 жыл бұрын
I - vi - IV - V in any key you like...C - Am - F - G or G - Em - C - D etc they are diatonic chords (which many rock and folk songs are) if you learn this then the system is simple....I - ii - iii - IV - V - vi - Vii - I

If you buy Chord pickout mate you can stick the mp3 in , and it gives you basic chord structure and playability of the mp3 so you can see the wave forms etc etc..Well useful for cheeky wee attempts in the house.Probably be pushed to find it though as Adams stuff is all protected......always by ear lol
