I went to my local humane society and asked for the oldest dog they had of a size my apartment could take and came home with my grumpy old man about two years ago. He was elderly when the only family he’d known couldn’t take him with them when they moved so he had to be surrendered. Sometimes people need to downsize due to financial issues or having to move into nursing homes and these older dogs often get overlooked when families come in looking for pets because they want a puppy or because these dogs have separation anxiety (understandable). My Powder had been in the humane society for a month and had almost stopped eating because it just wasn’t a happy place for him. But he got up to a safe weight pretty quickly once I got him home and he’s a little character. I’ve never regretted getting him, even when his love of soft fuzzy things means that all my blankets and pillows get dragged into the nests he builds around him or when he yells at me for not going to bed on time because I’m his sheet warmer.

This one is the best, I always cry at "opening their hearts". Shiki, DO ADOPT! There are so many dogs and puppies out there who want to open their hearts, and you will know it immediately. Mutts live longer than breeds anyway, they are stronger with the mix of genes.

I love this episode so much, one of my favorites. ♥ It's the sweetest thing to see them with animals, they have such a pure heart~ I love Jin with Adam... You're right about them luring in the dogs with snacks, but that's how the positive training method with dogs works. You use snacks to reinforce positive behaviours. Without snacks it would be hard, especially with dogs the boys didn't know beforehand.

Clearly the dogs are at different levels of training 😂 so cute… you can always tell good people by how dogs react to them .. you can tell how good and loving our boys are and how truly gentle they all are… so much love in these episodes and I wish we got them every other episode lol also this was jin getting a dog that was just like him lol have you seen jins pets? Can’t remember what they’re called but so so cute

Funny thing is that Adam actually seemed to respond more to the English commands… like Adam hadn’t really been listening and jin made this comment and said “sit” in English and Adam sat lol actually maybe he came from someone who speaks English… I know dogs don’t actually know whatever language it is you speak and more is certain cues and recognition in fluctuation… but when jin said “wait” in English .. Adam actually stood and waited… but then jin said “wait” in Korean and that’s when he ran off lol so who knows right… super cute regardless and how the dogs kinda matched up with whoever they got… but dogs are extremely intuitive and I’ve noticed a huge difference in the way my dog responds to certain people… and they can be very different. I don’t know if that’s an actual thing… but I feel like dogs are empaths which is why when you’re feeling kinda sad… dogs will almost always come to be near you… or try to give you love … they’re such incredible animals… wish I could rescue all the dogs in the world lol they’re better than humans for the most part for me lol

I think staff did this intentionally like all the dog's are trained except adam surely he's not that trained compared to other dog so staff choose Adam intentionally for making episode a little funny 😅 i think so but all dog's are cute but miri with he's partner jk is cutest pairing 😘❤️💜♾️
