Adam Neumann Explains Why Marc Andreessen Invested $350 Million In "Flow"

WeWork founder Adam Neumann is back, and he’s starting another real estate company.
Flow, which will focus on making residences into workspaces, already raised $350 million from billionaire Marc Andreessen’s a16z. Neumann said the new venture will either compete with WeWork or partner with it at Fortune’s Brainstorm Tech conference in Deer Valley, Utah.
Given the spectacular fall of WeWork-and Neumann’s departure-many are surprised he received such a huge investment for a very similar-sounding company.
But in an interview with Fortune’s Michal Lev-Ram, Neumann insisted he has learned from his mistakes.

He don't give af.. his non-compete even expired. He was in for complete personal benefit it seems. Although WeWork is not bad idea but in the end he learned how to exit while being profitable. Like the big firms that go bust but the execs still get their bonuses. At this point he could even buy WeWork back lol if he's truly savage

That would require a product of some type .....which this guy has never had. CON-MAN EXTRAORDINAIRE. ......is only half the equation. The other half of the equation is a lot of very GULLIBLE, WEALTHY, and GREEDY INVESTORS ........and presto ......SUCCESS!!!!! How does ANY company, institution, organization, investment, ......call it anything you want .......go from a "valuation" of $47 BILLION, January 2019, to $45 MILLION by the time it filed for BANKRUPTCY PROTECTION, August 2023? It's quite easy. There never was anything of any value ........just the CON ARTIST WITH A VERY BIG MOUTH ......the only one to walk away with a lot of money ....$770 MILLION......in 2019. What is truly weird is we have CNBC Television "interviewing" this CON ARTIST .....and he is STILL doing the "CON" ....ON PUBLIC TV!!!! A "NEW" CON!!!!!! .

I think you can learn more about him and his sales technique through interviews like these. The pace with which he speaks, very slow, calm, smiling slightly from time to time, greeting the audience at the beginning. Acting with apparent humility, his style is almost that of an enlightened, half-way between sect leader and a benevolent father. He's undoubtedly a great salesman who can manipulate people very well, to the point that many of his workers would be incapable of contradicting him for fear of disappointing him or falling out of his favor.

He got $700M of VC money from We Work. We work was a disaster. How Dumb are these Investors giving money to a guy like this ? Flow is going to revolutionize renting ? Difference between this & other real estate companies who own rental properties ? . Technology & Community !!!!. Do others also have $1B valuation ? He said the same thing when he was propping up We Work. Basically this new company is a Real estate company. Like the one before. Same CRAP.

"Net worth" is misleading. People think this means that a person has X amount, liquid sitting in an account. Usually their worth is in assets - no one actually has 1B in a bank account. That's stupid financial behavior. It takes time to divest and it's quite complicated. 350M is an insane investment to someone with no product - that's why it's being touted

It's again the same thing. I believe in his mission and understand he is doing it from his heart, but he is not financially wise. I can buy a building and within 24hrs all apartments will be rented these days because there is a shortage. so he says lets rent apartments and give them more fun that costs a lot to a company, it's nice but it's not really more profitable than just renting it and giving them nada.
