What an honor it must be to have climbed this route, and then to see the best climber probably of all time really struggling with it. Just shows what an immense feat it was to send this one in '96.

Adams passion is undeniable. I would love to see him have a meltdown on “the meltdown” much lower grade slab/face but has only seen one repeat and seems so unique. I want to see Adam take down every classic. Awesome, also that guy is a legend and has the hat to prove it!

It has had a second repeat now, and it is still 8c+/9a so not exactly much lower grade. One of the hardest slabs in the world. Also you need to be used to slate movement.

Englisch ist in Tschechien ein Pflichtfach, danach muss man zwischen Latein, spanisch, französisch und eben Deutsch eine zweite Sprache wählen. Wegen der geographischen Nähe und den wirtschaftlichen Möglichkeiten in Deutschland und Österreich wählen die meisten Schüler deutsch.

I love how there is always genuine joy in this sport for everyone when someone sends a route. No jealousy, no sadness at being "beaten", just genuine joy at seeing someone conquering their literal mountain. Love that sportsmanship, it's raw and gorgeous.

The fact that Adam is climbing at the level he's climbing at and filming and helping produce an amazing vlog each week is unbelievable. Thank you for being a massive inspiration to us all. By far my favorite episode so far - just wonderful to see two generations join hands like this. And your German ist great, makes me a little proud to hear Adam Ondra speak my native language. 🙏🙏🙏

This is just beautiful. This videos really show not just how good of a climber he is, but the type of human being. It is really lovely to see Stefan reaction and the camaraderie felt by both of theme. Pure climbing.

10 years and 14 days! I only recently got back into climbing, a handful of years ago I had a bad head injury that left me paralyzed feeling only agonizing seizures, and seeing this just motivates me everyday!!! Keep going at it Adam!

Watched a video of him climbing with Ghisolfi a few minutes ago. Adam speaks perfect Italian. Now he speaks German too o.O what a great guy! Super Typ Adam! And I like the cilmbing community... No envy, just joy because someone else has made it...

Between this and the Huber routes in Weissersomething cave (Om? Open Air?), there are now, what, 3 9as prior to Chris Sharma's FA of Biographie that warrant the 9a+ grade?

Yup, Schleierwasserfall. Open Air was upgraded by Adam (I think), and there are some other unrepeated strange routes in 91 - 9a+ range (Violent New Breed for example). It is fu..ng incredible how those guys were climbing in the 90s, when their training facility was a pull-up bar and a doorframe.
