I'm not convinced that thats an 8c+. I mean Its harder than anything I could do, and he made it look like a piece of piss, but at bouldering comps my understanding is that the problems are typically 8B at least, and those problems are rarely flashed

8B Boulder is different from 8B route.

+cheesypasta Adam has onsighted this grade and harder outside. Outdoor climbs are much stiffer than indoor climbs. Whether or not this particular route is 8C+ he is certainly capable of flashing it and making it look easy.

That may be because competition routes are usually quite different from other indoor routes. The biggest difference is that they usually do not have a single good restspot so it is hard to recover from mistakes. This route had quite a number of hard moves/sections, but there were rests between them.
