As a Penrith fan, I just can't help but feel bad for Reynolds. He's had his heart broken by Penrith twice. It makes me want to personally apologise to him. He's a champion player, regardless of results.

As a broncos fan I haven't been able to even watch any replays or interviews since the grand final. It just goes to show to win the big dance you gotta have heart, you gotta have skill and you gotta have the desire. And, lets be honest, you need a little bit of luck. I love it too because I’ve always disliked the Broncos as a club. Having said that I’ve usually liked Reynolds. He probably deserves more than 1 premiership for how good he’s been but I don’t want it to be at our expense so I’m happy it wasn’t this year.

Reynolds needs to give the reigns to Ezra Mam next year, Ezra won it for them and Reynolds trying to say to himself "w well I wanna carve up and score now ,instead of going back to the spot on the field where it was happening which was Ezra's side, he's ready for origin soon and even wear an Australian jersey.. he's a Schoolboys champion ..,there's nothing they taught him, they've only holding him back for Reynold's sake.. we need to concentrate on the future here

@@A------1 mate he led us to a premiership sure hes not one to really play his best in the big dance but hes certainly not comparable to jack wighton. We messed up big time letting him go but i blame it on management letting wayne leave to the dolphins and then ofc he wouldnt care to get any resigings done bc hes wasnt even going to be there, i blame wayne a lot because hes done the same thing in the past with other players i get it management basically controls who gets signed but the coach still has a major role in that and clearly we just thought latrell and cody could keep us in contention and for the most part they did in 2022 led us to another prelim but yeh our grand final window has been slammed shut. Outside of murray, graham, arrow they are the only souths culture type of players in my opinion and reynolds was one of them to he led by example and was awesome.

Souths should never have let him go. When Reynolds is on, he's unstoppable. To be honest though, his kicking game in the Grand Final did cost them. I'm not a fan of these short dropouts, particularly when you're trying to protect a lead.

Face facts, the broncos had the game won at 56 minutes and then spent the rest of the time on the field rehearsing their winning speeches instead of playing the game. They were handed a masterclass in focus and tenacity. Jokers, strokers and big game chockers. Reynolds let the game get to him when he gave the short pass at the end of a set instead of playing for a repeat set which allowed the Panthers to come out strong. As for Reese Walsh, he was a disappointment as he was rarely in position, cant tackle and thinks that a couple of runs a game is all he has to do. 80 mini utes is the game time, not just a few minutes here and there. Most pleasing thing about the whole final were those who missed the tackles when Cleary scored, all the big names failed miserably.

The Panthers were smart. They weren’t just playing the game, they were playing the player. Know your opponent. Panthers played smart, not harder. Yes, if Walsh were closer to the goal line, he would’ve stopped Kenny from scoring. And how about in the final 30 sec, he threw the ball avoiding the tackle count. But got intercepted by Sorenson. One blunder after another.
